Braids on natural hair should offer max versailtity and length retention. Really not necessary to leave these in for months. Please ladies, oil your scalp every other day or daily depending on the climate, condition your hair & and clarify the scalp with the braids in with water like a wash as necessary, say weekly even & Redo the perimeter every two weeks and redo the entire style monthly. You should not have that much shedding & should have 0 breakage bc your hair is moisturized and your scalp is clarified , my lawd😮 And beautiful hair curlfriend but 12 hrs is insane. For dense hair do Larger parts and or braud halfway and leave the mid & ends loose. My little one and I rock these mini braids with barely any shedding, breakage even with our ends out and I don't have 12 hrs to do either of hair if braided to the ends would be time consuming.

My hair is this same length and I’m currently working on mini twists on stretched hair. I started last night at 11pm stopped at 5am to go to bed, woke up at 11am to start back. It’s now 4:40pm and I’m still going 😂😂 I should be done within the next 2-3hrs. Why did I do this to myself AGAIN? 😂😂😂 Edit: Just finished at 6:34pm I have 86 twists. 😩
I'm also thinking 🤔 about doing mini twists next

What do you do on the ends? I tried it but my ends get tangled if i braid all the way to the bottom 😂
I twist the ends then add some gel to curl it

I made one of your hair style today, you really give me the courage to do so and which i appreciate. It's looks beautiful on me and i always live my hair in mini braids 5 to 6weeks and i got supa results thanks 👍 the braid which i did is the one u put on red top❤

How many times do you wash your hair a week or month?
Every week, high porosity hair can have product build up, so I make sure to wash my hair at least once a week
Do you always keep them a month?
2 months and redo them at the one month mark

Do you blow dry to put in the mini braids
At first I did them on wet hair but now I blow dry my hair it makes the parting process easy

The MSM is very good but once you stop it the hair cut 💇♂️ ✂️ off, but it's good for growing hair. Your braid your hair so beautiful

No not really, I'm taking MSM powder right now just did one month in..... I really try to focus on length retention mostly
