With your wrist you can probably pull off both but Longines watches typically wear a little larger than their diameter because a lot of their watches have long lug-to-lug distances. I'd go with 39 because it will probably still look nicely proportional to your wrist and smaller size befits the vintage aesthetics better. Plus the original beads of rice just beats other straps IMO. You can always find quality mesh or straps for fair price, but having an original bracelet with a fitted end link is such a plus.

I love Longines watches! Really like the 42mm, however, don't believe I would want the mesh bracelet on a diver. Of course depends on where you are wearing it. You could always change out the bracelet for a strap. That's one of the great things about watches, you can always easily change the look for the situation to dress up or down.

One is effectively a tool watch, one effectively makes the wearer a tool.

I like the high polish look. Sadly, I would scratch it in a few days.😨 I would probably go with the 42 mm.

Im in the market for a new watch . I need it for my expedition in Nepal im torn between this and the epix anyone else got the epix and regret not getting the Fenix. I need good display out in direct sunlight and ill be wearing dark glasses most of the time

No mention of the link friction pins? Also, the small amount of travel on the adjustable clasp is not even close enough to have it fit ocer a wet suit.

These are quite macho watches they are the fit for most men and just functional, waterproof, heat and anti-shock, low conductive and durable perfect for emergency workers first responder 🥷🏼⛑️ or dad gift 🎁 from a bygone late digital era so possibly I’d say mid-to-late 1990s era with those futuristic resin designs and backlight EL illuminator or Indiglo 📟. Its rival product to IRONMAN is the G SHOCK DW-6600/DW6900 notorious SEAL team watch aswell. I prefer the quality and durable of Casio products. They just useful and function was no fuss. Polar opposite to dress watch this is what men wear when they get hands dirty. I miss one Timex. The one Robert De Niro wore in Heat 🍿🥤. Timex Stealth model I wish that one can come back 😮‍💨

I have this same watch. I've had it for about 2 years. I absolutely love this one.

Countdown timer can be unlocked on this watch with a quick mod. Why Casio did not not just ship it with the timer function already available is beyond me.

I ’v got mine 2 weeks ago, and the heart rate meter is not accurate. When I measure it after a high intense activity its about 170 and it show 120.
