This feels less like an efficient tierlist and more like a fast casual tierlist. Either way though, is footlocked Ephraim really better than Cormag? Also Gilliam in D yet Eirika in Meme seems very odd to me, considering Eirika typically contributes significantly more than him in the average playthrough.

do you plan on doing the invasions and parlogues soon? They are big parts of the game and it feels a bit like you are skipping the extra chap[ters in fe 6 or 7 which you wouldn't normally do

Hmm, is this Eirika or Ephraim route? Some of the rankings only make sense in Eirika's route (Cormag B, Saleh A), while some of them only make sense in Ephraim route (Ephraim himself, Duessel).

It's super cool the endings vary so much. I knew Cairpre as the son of Hannibal by playing Thracia 776 first, but when I played Geneology, Cairpre was the heir to Silesse instead, and had a special ending about becoming king there.

I'm actually in the middle of my BR Lunatic draft myself, and i've paired Setsuna with saizo to pass Quick draw and golembane down to asugi. Even with her bad Str her consistent spd and skill make it pretty worth it. Plus she can tank mages to a small degree with the Illusory Yumi you get on Reina's map. Fun unit, just needs all of the strength drops you can get.

Hmmm, why DID they attack Minerva? She has 36 Avo, while Luke with his two B supports (Marth and Kris) would've had 48, which means he would've only faced 63 hit, but that doesn't seem like a big enough gap... I guess it's using expected damage: 22 * 0.76 = 16.72 damage, while 24 * 0.63 = 15.12.

You unfortunately didn't survive to see them, but there are Generals a couple of chapters after this that are ridiculously fast. The worst are Endgame Fire Dragons, though, which have 27 Spd and are thus completely impossible to double. There's a reason most players cheese that map, lol.

Radd's actually my favorite unit in Shadow Dragon. I understand people not wanting to use him because of his low level, but he's pretty solid if you do build him up.

Well lilina has a couple things to say with that 85% growth in magic, so with minimal training she is going to max her magic almost every time before class advance and even after class advance she will too, with her bond with roy that is almost instant she is just not going to fail attacks and has almost always atleast 3% crit, with same luck you can get enough speed for her to never be doubled but she aint going to double shit most of the timesbut she has above average resistances so she is a pretty good anti mage unit. Overall she needs a little more investment than earlier units but she has a great performance if you give her love. The other 3 units in the same chapter are 2 knights and a mercenary, in a game where you get 2 heroes, 2 mercenaries before him, in a game where you get 1 heroe crest abd dont see another one until chapter 15-6ish?

Combat Micaiah is inefficient because she can't enemy-phase. Putting boosters (other than Spirit Dusts) into her is just worse than giving them to Jill. Micaiah's true strength (which definitely puts her above the other lords you mentioned) is free Physic access after her first promotion.

Gotta love how Marth comes to Chapter 4 to save the royal children, Sirius joins to protect the royal children, and Yubello dying is a prerequisite to clearing the map

1:54:07 AFAIK, FE12 uses 2RN. Luke's 87 hit is a 96.75% true hit. You had a 3.25% chance to miss. 1:56:04 Ogma's 90 hit is a 98.1% true hit. You had a 1.9% chance to miss. And you missed both of them. Man, that REALLY sucks, lol.

You know, I'm not that experienced with this game, so I'll just comment on the most egregious things I disagree with. Shiida is the best unit in the game. Period. Jagen isn't that much stronger even at base, and Shiida has the Win Spear to break the difficulty of every boss-kill in the game. Shiida plus a warper is your fast playthrough. I know you like to say Generals are broken, but they're pretty niche unless you're slowing down for them; the real broken is Win Spear + Warp. Speaking of warpers, Wrys do be too high. He has E staves, and Lena exists one chapter later. If he reaches Warp, it'll be later in the game. In a fast playthrough, even Maria's probably better than him, because she has base D staves plus 10 WEXP. In a casual playthrough, Wrys will probably match or exceed this if you focus on him, but in a fast playthrough, more warpers is good, and Maria is likely to come online sooner than Wrys. Besides that, I'd put Lena at the bottom of S, probably. Lastly... what did you do to poor Tiki? Nagi kills the final boss, sure. So does Tiki, and Tiki exists for the C24 boss-kill. I just don't understand how, between two units that share one role, the one that can do things beyond that role is two whole tiers lower.

All units in SD are my precious babies and belong in S tier. Ballistics are forgable and it's pretty inexpensive to do so, so I might be one to nudge Jake and Beck up to S tier, as they can trade forges back and forth and trivialize parts of the game from afar. They also gain experience faster than other units do for some reason. Cain is funny because on paper he's a lot worse than Abel, but in practice I usually make an effort to get his lance to D asap, which is usually by the end of chapter 1, which means he gets to eat more than Abel does. They usually both end up being pretty gross. I think Athena as a pegasus knight has 10 str at base? She's pretty good. Solid base HP as well. Just gotta start with E lances. I think she's better than the whitewings because she joins a lot earlier with more str. I'd say Barst/Cord/Bord are A/B/C respectively. They all have pretty good base stats for doing stuff in Fighter. Bord suffers from that luck deficiency that makes every combat potentially lethal, though. Ogma and the three fighter bros benefit from a support web and if you consistently deploy them all they'll start getting hit and avoid from being near each other. Well, Ogma doesn't recieve from the fighters, he only grants support to them. Anyways, by the end of the game, you might even be able to avoid an attack once in a while, which is funny because it's Shadow Dragon. I think Astram and Midia and her dorks all have this too, but that's an even bigger struggle to keep deploying all of them. Navarre is pretty sturdy in cav and has enough luck to not get crit by anything. He can help wear Hyman down (with an iron sword) without risking getting crit because of his good luck stat. I think that's notable enough to get him to B.

Not a bad list, but I'd critique a few things myself. Note that this is just my take, so you're welcome to disagree. Ogma should not be above Barst, Hardin and Merric; those three should bump above him. Ogma is great, but swords lose value quickly and he needs to reclass to use Axes, starting him at E Rank without a Hand Axe. Barst has better personal bases, similar growths, and has an axe rank right off the bat, while Merric hits Res, has good growths and has Excalibur and Hardin has amazing personal bases, a decent starting level, great weapon ranks and good availability; he's better than Palla and Catria, even if they are also great. Boah, Midia and Est are also too low. Est is not good, but shes not bottom 5 either given her personal bases, weapon rank, natural flight, high growths and triangle attack access, not to mention she joins on a map with two easy methods to train her up immediately. Midia is also passable at base and can use important weapons right away like Ridersbane, not to mention she has a good speed growth and promoted class access. Boah is a good staff bot with good ranks even though his growths suck and he's inferior to Wendell. Units like Jeorge and Darros should not be above Merric and Minerva; the latter are far better thanks to Excalibur and Hauteclere, not to mention their better growths and Minerva being a promoted Flier naturally. Jeorge actually loses to a 10-1 Gordin and Tomas in terms of stats and growths; only Master Seal scarcity and his weapon rank give him an edge. Darros has defense, but not much else going for him. His Speed is just a deal breaker for him and he doesnt even have Bord's axe rank to offset it. He can become good in time if he goes down Merc, but that locks him to swords, so he needs to pick a better weapon or workable stats and he struggles to get both at the same time; he honestly belongs in lower C tier at best. Navarre can reclass to Cavalier and be immediately better than Matthis and Vyland with actual personal bases and a good sword rank, so he deserves to be a bit higher and should at least be beating Norne and Gordin. Athena is being a bit underrated too; she has very strong personal bases and is at promotion level at base, not to mention she can become a flier immediately with no investment due to being female and having good stats right away. She should be ahead of Marth, Astram and Darros. I'm not sure easy Aum access is enough to put Elice above Gotoh and Linde, the former is whom is great for endgame when you have him and the latter of which can contribute much more across the whole game if invested. These are just my opinions based on my multiple playthroughs, so by no means is this me telling you you're wrong! Knowing what i know about this game, I just feel some units are being giving a little too much/not enough value relative to other units.

what would you think for just a regular run through of the game? i've only played radiant dawn once and it was a wild experience because usually i try not to use my jiegen and just train up other units instead but this game was completely topsy turvy with team comp all the way throughout

...I swear, the RNG *_HAS_* to be different in FE6. So you see, there's this patch called "RNG Randomizer", which makes it so the RNG is actually random. I like this patch a whole lot that I apply it to every FE ROMhack that I play now, if it didn't already have it installed. And, in all my time playing all those ROMhacks... The RNG BS never quite matched up with FE6's BS

Something you missed with Mist: When Tanith joins in Chapter 18 she has a Sonic Sword, which deals damage based off the Magic stat instead of Strength. Mist is tied with Ilyana for the 4th highest magic growth in the game. She can be an absolute BEAST of an offensive unit if you give her the Sonic Sword. It's easiest to do if you promote her early so you can get her Sword rank up to B faster (she starts at D). Regardless of if I early promote I usually also give her the Arms Scroll from chapter 9 since there really isn't a great use for it outside of that, this means she only needs to rank her sword up once to use Sonic Sword which is really easy to do. If you play Maniac there's even a second Arms Scroll which lets her instantly use it. Her defense isn't great so she won't be able to take a lot of hits but she has very decent Speed so it usually doesn't matter, she often ends up dodging everything, and even if she doesn't dodge, her super high Luck growth means Miracle will proc pretty often for her in a pinch. She isn't invincible but she can definitely be good glass cannon! And that's not even counting her usability as a mounted healer on top of that.
