Great chat as always! The stax archetype gets its name from the card Smokestack, though I do like the “soft tax” interpretation of the name that we come across more often in commander 😂. Also, for anyone interested in color pie philosophy I would recommend mark rosewater’s podcasts about the color pie. Interesting to hear how design thinks about the color pie, straight from the horse’s mouth!

Valgavoth only triggers on the oppponents turn, They have to have damage done to them on their turn, then he gets his counter and you draw.

Valgavoth only triggers on the opponent's turn. So he wouldn't be as big, but still a strong effect.

Getting Valgavoth out before anyone even has a turn is kinda cooked lol

I really like that the cards appear on the screen when a new one is brought up. It helps viewers know what is going on. Please have this occur more often, like when a card is being read aloud, or being held by the person whose turn it is.
