Montana & Wyoming Fly Fishing Trip
Drove with my brother, and a few of our friends, from Virginia to Montana for our first time fly fishing trip out West. Started off with a guided float on the Madison River with the homie Danny through Madison River Fishing Company. Was the only day it rained the entire trip, but we had the best time and hooked into a few trout. Lost my biggest rainbow I've ever got to rise. Got the hook set, was fighting for a bit, jumped out the water a couple feet, didn't let him run enough and unfortunately broke off.
Camped for a few days on a couple tributaries off the Madison. Got a great campsite on Beaver Creek where we ended up staying a few days since the fishing and views were so good. Next we made our way to the Gallatin River. Ended our trip going through Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons. Such a magical trip. Cannot wait for our next fly fishing adventure and hopefully get to spend at least a month exploring all these amazing streams and rivers.

Footage from Looe Key Reef in the Keys. Haven't dived this reef since I was a kid, brought back lots of good memories. But sad to see some of the changes. We also got to do some lobster diving outside the sanctuary. Fun trip all around. Looking forward to next year.

did this climb yesterday, first climb and lead it woot! my budy couldnt get up the first crux and went on belly roll. pretty much out climbed my budy yesterday 8(. fun 3 crux first pitch!!

I led that crack 40 some years ago. C Crack as well. All with stoppers, hexes and tube chalks. Good job!!!

Nice send! Why did you fully extend the #5? Just to keep the rope out of your way? I’ve climbed a few 7s and 8s at the Gunks and I’m just trying to milk the beta lol.

Both are very moderate climbs but banana is definitely heady since the flake shifts

When you’re ready-look at the ‘direct finish’ straight up after the crux of *_”Modern Times”_* Thin gear then large cam & bush(escape Rt bombay/slot 5.7) From bush at base of shallow corners {a well protected long reach; go up white cap stone w/clean streak thru lichen}Good holds & gear where you need👉😳🗿🫣vertical exposure😄& another ‘out-there’ climb at a ‘sane’ grade is “Traverse of the Clods”
