Fun, largely forgotten kart racer from obscure developer Smart Bomb Interactive out of Salt Lake City, who made a trio of quality games back in the late 2Ks (this and two Snoopy flying/shooting games) and unfortunately have been making mobile games since under the name Wildworks.
One of about 50 Gamecube games (www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=List_of_GameCube_games_with_native_widescreen) that had a native widescreen mode. As with many of those games back when widescreen was a new technology, the gameplay itself is in proper 16:9 but most menus are still in 4:3. Because I'd never stretch a 4:3 game to 16:9! When I'm elected video game president in the future, people who stretch 4:3 games to 16:9 will be sent to video game jail.
This also saw versions on the PS2 and PSP, and people say the PSP version is the best one thanks to extra characters and courses.
Technically retroachievements are also active as you can see when the game loads, but for whatever reason they're not actually synching with the Retroachievements site in Dolphin.
