How a annoying that this friend keeps referring to watts as a "kid" when watts was 33yrs old. This guy isn't that much older than watts. Nonetheless, watts was 33, what kid? I don't think this couple was that close the watts and shanann. Haging out 6, 8 times a year i not close. How they decri ewatts and shanann is that what everyone said. But others who were close did give more insight. Whay are these 2 even being interview aother than the fact their daughter babysat and the girls were at son's birthday party. That doesn't make them close.

NA was supposed to help sw with the girls for her drs appt. So of course she noticed. Plus sw always answered texts. It was obvious to na something was wrong. When someone always answers texts and you never wait. You would notice that and sw lived on her phone.

Hope this family feels peace.

It’s scary because he seemed so normal. The psychopathy is something that we all to look for in our children’s boyfriends and girlfriends.

What people don't understand is Shanann was in Thrive, she literally had to be on social media every day first thing, checking with your downline, Nicole was her downline she would have heard from her first thing in the morning. She was also her friend so after not hearing from her (boss) and pregnant friend who was concerned about her pregnant friend who missed her appointment for the baby.

I understand why Chris wanted a different life, but why not just get divorced instead of murder? That's what I don't understand.

To say his eyes look evil is saying that Bella's eyes look evil because they're the same eyeballs. It's just a serious look he has at certain times When he was on TV right after the murders his eyes did not look like a murderer you would never know. I've seen George Clooney with that same look in his eye and he's not evil. Evil has no eyes

If the girls reacted to the cake with anaphylactic shock then it would have shown something was off. He had to make everything look normal so he could proceed with his plan.

Omg I don't get people being so well stupid quite frankly...it's obvious cw pulled the wool over most everyone's eyes...they didn't see any difference in his demeanor or attitude? WELL OF COURSE NOT! Because he was playing them..Because that's what he has done right thir marriage kids everything ...wearing a mask to cover his real horrible sl#ty ways and passive aggressive hidden total revenge !! On his wife ...he's a horrible human being and it's way worse than we will ever know believe me!!

Jeremy is lacking logical thinking. He was wrong about Chris immediately post murder and he is wrong about the mistress's involvement.

How crazy that they had an easier time believing she killed kids and herself, then that Chris did it. That is rather telling in a lot of ways

The murder must have impacted EVERYONE in that community,family ,country the world except the murderer's family who live in denial.

I don't understand why they call him a kid, that diminishes his responsibility. He is a monster, not a kid. Also, Shan'ann being OCD doesn't mean she would commit murder. She was see-through, he wasn't. She wasn't hiding anything, she was simply not sharing very private details that other people also wouldn't share but he on the other hand... he had a whole different life and a whole different mind than what he showed to others.

Kids need structure and schedules, it gives them a sense of security. Shan'ann was an amazing mom. People should follow a schedule more often. Parents above all, need their alone time so that they can rest and be better parents, a schedule is important.

I listened to another interview of them but it was difficult to hear them because of the noise in the background. For some reason I had the feeling that they weren't very keen on Shan'ann, which bothered me. I hope this interview lets me see them in a different light.

This lady is so cute! Jennifer Lyndstrom, I think. She had a soothing voice as well. Mr. Lyndstrom is a nice looking man. I am so sorry this all happened to these decent people.

I really feel for this couple. They must go over things in their heads so often. Even thinking their daughter was in the home babysitting hours before the murders would take place. When asked they said they didnt think anyone else was involved. Even if they thought NK was involved, I don't think they'd say. What we do know is Chris was a compliant husband "living in Shannan's world" as Jeremy stated. We may never know if Chris had help that night. Although I will always believe NK was there and involved. Other than NKs phone pinging at 6.16am in Frederick that fateful morning (as it had before when at the Watts home on 2 occasions, l will never forget Chris slipping up in his police interview when his dad was there "she wasn't meant to be there" and "we used a shovel". Shannan was expected home and meant to be there. I believe NK may not have been expected and entered the basement window under the kitchen wimdow, at the back of the house (which Chris told police wasn't locked) to find that Chris really wasn't sleeping in the basement as he'd told NK. NK had in the days before the murders googled wedding dresses and if a married man will leave his wife for a mistress. NK according to Chris, also had bipolar and he claimed on two occasions he had to "talk her off the ledge" (calm her after she escalated emotionally). He also spoke of her playing him a video of her having a bipolar episode talking to herself which she later deleted. Chris told police later in prison that he thought about killing his family for weeks. I believe this was to take the heat of his mistress being involved. The 111 minute call just hours before the murders would be telling. Yet both Chris and NK claim they don't recall what they discussed. We know from police enquiries NK didn't clock into work that morning, wasn't seen by her colleagues until after lunch, and she left at 3pm. As Agent Tammy said the clock stopped on that investigation when Chris plead guilty.
