Having just dropped a group of kids at the Frank Chapman residential centre in the Wyre Forest, this a short clip of part of the very careful drive to exit the forest. Note this is a two-way road and I could have met oncoming traffic at any time - I have had to reverse a bus half a mile on this road before.

Now that doesn’t like something 825 had when Lothian had it definitely not original whatever that whining noise is as I’ve travellled on 825 loads of times from its time with Lothian
It is original, its the voith thats making that noise.

@@callumdelaney7884 I know of this and 818 (possibly others) sounding like this for a number of years, agree with @ScotRail158725 it’s a brilliant bus - one I’d consider preserving for two reasons, last B7TL new to Lothian and just because the Voith is brilliant.

Yeah mate, I only found out about the trip the day before too, and since there weren't any buses or trains that early I had to cycle up to Walsall from Tipton. 100% worth it in the end.

The BX02 reg tridents that NXWM operate are my favourites as they have a lot of grunt to them when floored. Although these are Voith DIWA examples, they have a nice sounding electro-brake as well.

Volvo B10M not that I know of
www.ukbuses.co.uk/fleet/nxwm.pdf There seems to be a gap between 4815 and 4817 but a gap of 5 possible reg plates between the two fleet numbers (PFZ, PGA, PGB, PGC, PGD) indicating a possible batch sale during production to another company but with a mistake in NXWM's numbering system.
No, 4816 was renumbered and reregistered a few years ago
I can only see S1 TWM as a personalised plate on the fleet list and that is apparently a Scania. Who currently owns it?
