Got some new stainless clamps for the exhaust tips.. figured I'd take ya along for the drive. Odo shows 74k on this old bird. Transmission certainly shifts like it..smooth 700r4. Got some noise from the exhaust manifold/convertor area..looks like a flow master 80 series muffler..I kinda love this car

cleaning up my 96 A4 LT1 Trans Am WS6. Car has 92k miles. First wash of the year & just going over the body defects. Found this local on marketplace & believe it was sitting in a garage a while. Sorting out the issues slowly.

condition of my factory sail panel after sitting in the sun all day. car spends majority of its time in the garage. at this point the issue is consistent enough that I don't really care too much. at some point I may invest in a carbon fiber panel or find a pre 98 piece but replacement is definitely a big job. sanding & repainting factory piece will not solve the issue

starting up my 75k mile formula 305 after about 11 months of sitting idle. Replaced all coolant and hoses, thermostat & coolant temp sensor. new rubber fuel lines & random vacuum hoses. also new plugs wires cap and rotor. now the heater core is leaking so I bypassed that for now. need to replace core & non ac heater box I have. it's a project, issues never end. good news is it runs good, stops ...

What a beautiful formi ❤ I have built a formula ws6 clone from a basic 3.8v6 with c5 ls1 engine swap, built tranny and many upgrade parts. Also did the Turn One PSP w pulley. Also did the alternator swap to a truck alternator from a 05 avalanche. These Power Steering Braces do work. I have built my own from a L-steel profile. It eliminates flex from the firewall. The secret is to fix the Mastercylinder so it is fixed but not so hard it punches the brake booster too much 😊 I also have Nittos on the back with the same dimensions as you have. Nittos are sticking as hell, but in the wet... ou ou ou😮 😅 but makes fun 😊 Yeah, these sail panels... have the same issue 😢

@@dant6546 I understand. My car only has 17,000 miles and is only driven to car shows. I still have half a dozen bubbles. One day I'll replace it. Keep posting Firebird videos and I'll keep watching.

They're not my favorite that's for sure. I got a set of 88-92 formula wheels I'll put on eventually. Unless I find a deal on black crosslace gtas
The dusty interior tells me that someone loves doing donuts in the dirt and forgets to roll up the windows.
Man i love how original the interior is. with some cleaning and some glue on the console your interior is perfect.

Exactly..wish it had manual windows but they work for now. As far as I know it's a stock cam
@@dant6546 the left side would have had buttons for the fog lights ....you already got the space for fog lights in the bumper so grab the buttons now while they are still cheap. In the right side would have had some radio option button which you can achieve anyway from the radio.

Thank you sir! The old cars definitely keep us busy. Been focusing on deferred maintenance. Replaced all rubber coolant/fuel/vacuum hoses & plugs/wires/cap/rotor. Gotta finish up a few small things & add coolant and get her started again...its been a few months since its run..
@@dant6546 I've got to replace the sway bar end links, rubber is just gone gone. Fuel lines are on the list and the car has that stainless steel braided hose covering so one by one I'm going over them to see what needs to be replaced. One for sure is the coolant reservoir one because it's leaking.

This airport a former Air Force Base has been a major reason for businesses and people to locate in Southern NH.
I love that spot for watching the planes - especially the heavies - land. Almost need earplugs! Looks and sounds like a pretty stiff crosswind, I kinda wonder why they didn't use the other runway.
