Hi there Tobias! I am planning to visit Ruka to ski and stumbled upon your video! We have our 3 year-old daughter coming with us later, I saw you have a lovely child with you, does Ruka have a childcare service there? Who looked after your child when you ski? Thank you :)
Unfortunately we don't think Ruka offers any child minding service, other than skiing school. We are fortunate enough to have Nanny holiday with us and she doesn't ski so she looks after our daughter. Hi Bobby, this Holiday was in January. It can be gloomy a lot of the time in January. You might get two or three bright days in January. Also the daylight hours are very limited however every piste is well lit when it gets dark.
