Hello sir, I’m a new DJ and I’m currently using a Numark Party Mix, but it’s starting to act up - the volume fader’s getting glitchy and the buttons are kinda stiff now. A friend of mine, who’s a salesman, offered me an old stock Denon MC4000, still sealed in the box, but I know it's been phased out for a while. I’m planning to cop it, but I wanted to ask - how does the Denon MC4000 hold up in 2024? Will it still vibe with Serato’s latest updates, or am I better off looking for something newer? Appreciate any advice you could drop, sir. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the video Jimmy.. I've been considering these as a solo musician and for small trio (drummer - mic the kick drum, guitar, bass and two vocals) The damage to the sub enclosure with only 1 gig of use is a concern regarding their overall integrity i'd say?

Always nerve racking especially when using new speakers for the 1st time. I was looking at the J8 but went for the FBT VN2000 instead.

We were lucky with the football as it was a 5pm KO, It would of been different if it was at 8pm.

stopped using mine. too heavy to carry from shed, down the steps, through the entry, down the path, down to more steps, down to the road (where ever I can get parked). stick to using my opera 12s. can carry two at once.

Fab speakers jimsters, even though the wood ones are better lol. thrash them, they work better.

I believe this problem has happened before, meaning its a known issue, contact SS they are very helpful. think theres a fix.

Same dmx controller as mine, but rarely use it. I've had to replace the power lead on mine as the wires are so small. Nice video, and you have a nicer soldering iron than mine. 😂 I had to move the internal mic on mine aswell as it was not picking up the sound very well.

Everything is tik bloody tok these days lol, i like sound switch apart from having to put volume up high to get the lights to be bright, some tunes just thave to be lower, great gig log jimster. But one thing, why do djs (apart from me) have the karaoke screen facing you, it should be facing the crowd.
