Ella Gardens
D'Amore Loop
How do you side clip?!?!
Dickens Expressway
fifth (I made his 47 no longer top 3)
I found a about 2 second time save. So basically, you click R to redo the first level as soon as you hit the flag. Doesn’t have to be frame perfect. I discovered this by doing a speed run with a bad start, so I redid the level as I hit the flag. It took me to level 2 and reset the timer, hope this is useful if you read it
Glitch, found and not allowed
level 60
I HACKED IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
W video
Imagine having a low taper fade
Level 49 WAS SO CLEAN 🤯
The 2 mouse cursors making me think it’s 2 dust
Nice episode
Thanks dude. Your comments, though simple, are encouraging. These podcasts get much less views than my usual videos but I love doing them. It's good to know that some people out there are enjoying these :)
@@sam_underscore your welcome
Keep the good work going
i get that theyre like professionals and allat, but there are things here that dont make a drop of sense, like he literraly went through the spikes like they were non existent
That’s because they 2 frames in the spike and carried enough speed to touch the spikes for 5 centiseconds and not die.
Hi there. This is a pretty well done TAS, though there is a number of maybe around 30 improvements (many small ones but also a few bigger ones, though when it comes to tiny e.g. lag frame-saves, there could be a lot more in unnoticed form) that I noticed when I compared your TAS with my Test-TAS from about 3 and a half years ago of the very same category though on lsnes, which though also has some mistakes compared to your TAS, including quite costly routing mistakes. For reference, in my TAS, input ends at frame 276128. At first when I checked out TASVideos and saw this submission, I thought the author definitely would know of my TAS, but certainly that isn't the case, so if interested, e.g. as timely improvement of the (or reworking of a new) submission on TASVideos (though then preferably with me as co-author if the best of both worlds, so to say, is combined), I'd suggest checking out my TAS. I also made one for just the any% category, and I guess such a version (in improved form) could then be submitted, too. If interested, I can provide my notes and lsnes TAS movie files as well (and there's a movie file converter between bizhawk and lsnes anyway, which at least for older versions of bizhawk should work, but I'm not sure if that's still the case).
Thanks for letting me know, I hadn't seen this before. However, a few things. 1.) Your emulator used is clearly quite different from mine, such as the way that your mouse is able to zip anywhere it wants where the Bizhawk mouse has a max of 10 units per frame in any direction. Load times also look a bit different, but I'm not sure. 2.) My TAS, with a time of 1:16:27.96, is about 7 seconds faster than yours. 3.) Updating my TAS with levels from yours would not at all be a simple process. Going between emulators with different TAS files is complicated, tedious, and causes desyncs. 4.) Yours is better in some ways than mine, and mine is better in some ways than yours. For example, in 9-10 I save a cycle over yours. But in your 6-9, you do an additional clip to reach Luigi that I didn't do in mine. So there is much time to be saved in both examples. 4.) If you want to take my movie and improve upon it, please do so. You can download it from this tasvideos.org/6006M and make modifications on Bizhawk 2.9. I for one, however, am done with this game. Let me know if you pursue this!
@@sam_underscore Yes, in lsnes I was TASing using the input editor (which allows to pick any coordinates on the screen for any frame to move to, but can be tedious to specify the exact coordinates each time) rather than something like e.g. using frame-advance and a controller. For SNES games, I think at least since the time when in some version of Bizhawk a uninitialized data was enabled to be initialized the same way as lsnes does it, TASes made with either emulator should be transferable, though for arbitrary code execution I'm not sure if Bizhawk has the multi-tap function by now for using multiple controllers' inputs simultaneously. And yes, your TAS is faster, but there is improvements to be had on either side, is what I meant (and I just saw that you noticed that, so never mind). Though I think updating the TAS would be rather simple compared to how it usually is with TASes of other games, since as far as I remember, there is barely any RNG and fluctuations in lag, and so basically all the stages can be optimized independently from each other and played back to back without much re-synchronization work needed, but yes, the game is quite long. But as I pointed out, lsnes and Bizhawk should for SNES run equivalently without desnychronization, or even if it were the case, it should be minimal and easy to fix since RNG should play barely any role (and the route through the worlds is the same). And yes I'm aware that TAS movie files are uploaded to TASVideos for submissions, though I won't get any time soon to work on that (if no one else does it anyway so that there'd be no need to do so in the first place). But okay I see, and it's alright if you're done with the game. Thanks for letting me know.
Nice TAS. Question, Why did you make these Tas, Is it practice for a big Tas in the Future.
It's just for fun
@@sam_underscore I'm glad your enjoy making them
