With the BDs for the fourth Girls und Panzer das Finale movie finally dropping and Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata recently finishing, I felt like it was finally time to do an update of my two previous videos involving the anime songs of ChouCho with the intention, of course, of including all the new anime songs that she has sang ever since... just kidding. I don't think it's the right time yet to do a remake considering I first plan to replace most of my files of her anime songs that are admittedly, of less-than-appealing quality. Instead, here's a meme video I whipped up quickly in celebration of April Fools' Day, which stemmed from an idea by a friend a few years back. (Yes, it's already April 2nd on some parts of the world by the time I upload this, but it's still April 1st for most countries, so whatever.)
This is basically just a video on anime songs that have "choucho" somewhere in the romanization of their song titles, without regard for capitalization. My quick and most probably poor research netted me probably 8 anime songs, one of which ended up not in the video because I would have to spend more time than what is worth just for this meme.
Note(s):
1) As I mentioned above, I tried to include anime songs whose romanization of the song title has "choucho" in it somewhere, without regard for capitalization.
2) I was actually on the fence as to whether to include "Melon-tai Koukyoukyoku《Henhochouchou yori》" by Miho Okasaki in the video. As you will see and hear in the video, the song itself has no lyrics per se, and it's debatable whether that one is still considered an anime song. However, the show did credit the song and even included the singer in the credit, so I just included it in the video with a non-whole number ranking.
3) As I also mentioned above, there was one song that I did not include in the video. That song was "Ekaki Uta Chouchou" by Mariko Mukai, which according to both anidb.net and anison.info, is an insert song in the original 1970 Konchuu Monogatari Minashigo Hutch TV series. I was not willing to go through every single episode of that show just to check whether that song even exists and/or played in the anime at all, considering it's all just for a meme video.
4) Before anyone mentions, no, the Yuru Yuri San☆Hai! OP does not count (song title is "Chochocho! Yuru Yuri☆Capriccio!!!", the specific string "choucho" is nowhere to be found); neither does that one insert song in AKB0048: Next Stage (I have no clue why "Ponytail to Shushu" is listed as "Ponytail to Chouchou" in anidb.net, it's Shushu everywhere else).
