After an absence of 30 plus years, from the days of 'bashing' my modified Tamiya Hornet with a select number of friends in the local school playground and playing field. I have decided that I was missing the 'Fun' and 'Enjoyment' of this wonderful hobby. I have now been reunited with this fabulous technical hobby and wish to show the younger generation, how superb this great hobby is and how much more fun the various RC vehicles can be.

I ‘m sorry I have not been staying in touch, like I used to. I see you are dabbling with a Carisma model here. Looks to be a decent build. I will try to do a better job of staying in touch. Nice work as always John! Have a great day my friend!👍😊
That’s pretty good John! Amazing how much more suspension travel there is just by shaving that part down. When you see the replacement screws you put in at the front I really don’t understand why Tamiya opted for those big bulky plastic parts that kill the ground clearance. Just weird.
@@FastFreddyRC hi Freddy, you’ve been on a catch up 🖐️😉😎👍 yeah so right, Tamiya do have some quirky ways 🤣😂. Best wishes to you all 🖐️😉😎
Good stuff John! It is interesting as to why they have such a large plastic piece that sticks down below the chassis. Doesn’t seem right as it takes up too much of what ground clearance there is. But oil shocks are definitely a nice upgrade. I really like the TT02 chassis…there’s just so many things you can do with it.
@@FastFreddyRC hey Freddy, thank you for tuning in my friend. Yeah, so don’t understand the extra material that just gets in the way. But have no fear, John and the Stanley knife are here 🫣😎🫣. I believe that Tamiya should include bearings and oil shocks on all their models as standard. I would pay the small price extra, or even keep the price the same and remove the ESC! Best wishes to you and the family 🖐️😉😎
Well done Sir, those shocks look like they would fit one of my 10th scale bashers, big, beefy. should be a smooth ride.

Awesome John! It’s probably one of the best things to upgrade to this car right off the bat. The plastic drive shaft is just so clunky and the metal is perfectly round and smooth. It just has to make a difference in the way it drives and operates in the car.
