Similar to Firefox 8x8
@@lienly Other than having 8 wheels, Zerobrick's firefox 8x8 is larger, uses a different suspension and more motors. So I wouldn't say it's similar
INSANE!!!!
How did you put drive axles in small suspension area? It's very cool!!
@@MOCMAKEPERSON Thanks! The drive axles are made using fork pieces with gears inside and the suspension pivots around them. You can check it out on more detail on my unimog u5000 instructions: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-155869/Another%20brick%20in%20the%20world/unimog-u5000-6x6/#details

In my opinion it doesn't matter how many wheels a car has, it matters how it is built. Carlos, you created very interesting model. I haven’t experience in building 8 wheel cars so I would try to build something like your model.
@@hlieb061 Thank you! Can't wait to see how you'll build that 8x8 :)
Awesome stuff, well done Carlos
@@alexandruilea6471 Thank you very much!
Nice! It's a shame it didn't get to the podium on the gathering, it looks like should've. Also, what's the answer to the title?
@@nikola_104 Thanks! Long story short, I'd say that more wheels usually offers better performance, but more than 8 wheels is way too much in my opinion
Amazing video! I watched it twice 😀 Thank you!
@@orangetrialtruck Thank you very much! I appreciate that :)
Very nice and interesting video. I hope you got a lot of positive emotions from BW camp, like me.
@@hlieb061 Thank you! I of course had postive emotions from this year's edition, just wish I did better on Offroad. But that's something to improve for next year :)
Awesome overview of this year's competition. I had a lot of fun there too and it was nice meeting you in person again. See you next year!
@@nikola_104 thank you! It was nice to meet you in person again too, hope to see you in the next one!
nice performance, but i cant help but wonder why you chose not to use direct drive for the wheels?
@@clevmagyk770 thanks! I decided against direct drive as it wouldn't be possible to add a gearbox that way. This model was designed for this year's BuWizz Camp, where I found out that gearboxes are very important. Thank you for leaving a comment!
Make the gaerbox automatic, there are really good vidoes on this on youtube "Smallest auto lego gearbox" and add rear wheel steering. It will be a beast.
and if possible move the center of mass closer to the back of the truck
@@alexlizogub1 Thank you for your suggestions. About the gearbox, I prefer manual ones, as they take up less space and you can predict how the vehicle will react, not to mention the gear meshing which could be a problem with this much power. I decided against 4WS because it would bring the center of gravity upwards and to the rear, which isn't ideal, and with FWS the radius is ok anyway
Swap the gearbox to an automatic, there are videos on youtube. It's lighter and simpler.
@@alexlizogub1 Not sure about automatic transmisions, they are more complex and therefore they take up more space and weigh more. They also have to mesh gears at different speeds, which will damage them over time
Add rear wheel steering so it's more maneuverable
@@alexlizogub1 I actually considered adding 4WS, but with FWS the radius is ok, and 4WS would add more weight and weak points anyway
😊🤔🤔🤔tu l'as trouvé sur quoi ton truc
Fantastic build! Are you powering the motors with 2x buwizz units? I'd love to see how you built the suspension!
Thanks! Yes, the motors are powered with 2 BuWizz 2.0 units and you will be able to check out the suspension when I make the instructions, but it has the same design as the Monstermog so you can check that one out here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-162798/Another%20brick%20in%20the%20world/monstermog-6x6-trial-truck-with-4-buwizz-motors/#details Hope this helped :)
Looks like twice the power results in wheels falling off :)
Actually, the V2 Raid buggy made the wheels fall off more easily because it had a softer suspension. However, they will still fall off if you hit them hard enough, specially in the high gear. Thank you for leaving a comment!
really powerful!
Thank you!
Hey, very nice car, whould you have some detailed photos of it pls? I have buld the chasis and want to build a similar car but from video not all is clearly visible. Can you provide few photos and some details of the build pls?

suggestion: make a rock crawler next time
Will do! I was actually building a trial truck, so I guess I could convert it to a crawler :)
Some lego rc car are better than the real rc car 😂
Thank you!
Another brick in the world: 1:13 - "I should improve my driving skills..." Also him: 1:53 * pulls of a drift millimeters from the pillar *
Ha ha! But consider that the drift also had trial and error, I just didn't include it as it wasn't as destructive as the jump one ;)
Nice! The body reminds me a lot of your Baja Trophy Truck Prerunner and for me it looks better with these smaller wheels. Also those drifts look really smooth, do you have some more footage of it drifting? What gearing did you change for crawling, wheel hubs, gears, both?
Thanks! The bodywork was inspired by that model, and I agree, it looks better with these smaller wheels. I have a tiny bit of more footage of it drifting, I guess I could include it in some other video. For crawling, I forgot to bring the planetary wheelhubs as that was the plan. I otherwise tested it indoors, and it's no real crawler, it would need some modification for it to really perform. (That's why I said sort of)
It’s wonderful vehicle~! I have a question about auto calibration of servo motor setting. When I use PU L motor for steering with BC2 for iOS and BuWizz 3.0, auto calibration button in BC2 is not activated. So, I have some problem center steering. How do you solve this problem?
Thank you! For the steering callibration, I'm afraid I can't really you help here, as I run it at android and don't have an iOS device to test it. It otherwise doesn't work very well, I'd just recommend for you to set mecanically the steering perpendicular to the chassis like a lego PF servo as PU L motors have that position set as the center position. Hope that helped you with something :)
I have the same issue with a different build. I think the problem is that Brick Controller 2 doesn't recognise the Powered Up L Motor as a Servo Motor hence the lack of calibration options. Perhaps the BuWizz app does so I'd recommend trying that. Let us know how you get on!
@@Anotherbrickintheworld Thank you for your kind reply. Do you mean that the steering motor can be calibrated even if you use BuWizz 3.0 and PU L motor on Android devices? I didn't know that. Actually, I built your MOC-170345 using PU L motor instead of PF Servo motor, because I only have Buwizz 3.0. For now, I added one PU Smart hub and set it for steering. I should test it with Android devices later. Thanks.
@@gergoszabo8656 The BC2 app recognizes the PU L motor well. However, this is a problem if the BT hub is BuWizz and the smartphone device is an iPhone. I saw something on Eurobricks that BC2 app developers do not yet support auto-calibration for iOS+BuWizz. So I added a PU Smart hub and set it for steering.
@@bg3305 Good luck on that! I'm glad you built one of my models :)

Just AWESOME
Thank you!
scam !!🤣🤣
What do you mean by scam?
I was referring to an AD, on your channel about bitcoin.
@@gorlier5388 I see. I'm sorry you got a scam on one of my ads, I don't have any control on them
Awesome build super nimble!
Glad you like it!
Hats off to you, this looks fantastic, it's a must-build! I'm thinking about using 3x BuWizz 3.0 Pros.
Thanks! I will relase instructions soon, so you'll be able to build it. I haven't tried it with 3 BuWizz 3.0, but it should be staright-foward to do the conversion.
@@Anotherbrickintheworld Credit where credit’s due! Out of curiosity, what software do you use to build the instructions and how do you go about it? I’m trying to create step-by-step instructions for a model designed and built by somebody else - haven’t had much success so far…
@@gergoszabo8656Thanks! For the instructions I use Bricklink Studio. It's easy and straight-forward to use, and it has the added benefit of almost auto-generated instructions. You can download it here: www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page
@@Anotherbrickintheworld Hey mate, any news on the building instructions for this beast?
Awesome model, I like concept of 6x6 drive. You use fast or slow output of BW motor?
Thanks! I used the slower output of the BuWizz motors, with the same axle design as the Monster Pickup ( ua-cam.com/video/1z-idOzZjs0/v-deo.html )
very nice! what type of steering is this?
Thanks! I used the usual rack and pinion steering, but with double steering racks so if one breaks I still have the other. This steeeing setup was also used in the 42160 Audi set.
Awesome model! How does it compare to your Monster Pickup in terms of performance (since they have a very similar chassis)? Looks like they're similar in performance.
Thank you for your comment! About the performance, it's comparable to the monster pickup's one, though it has a few upgrades. It's more stable, as it's a 6x6, has a better power-to-weight ratio, faster steering response with a tighter steering radius, double the suspension travel and some redesigned axles to be even tougher.
How did you know the schedule and announcement of this event??
This event was held up by BuWizz themselves. They usually announce it in a video. You can buy tickets for this year's one if you're interested: buwizz.com/buwizz-gathering-2024/
@@Anotherbrickintheworldthank you for answer!!
@@MOCMAKEPERSON No problem!
Nice suspension!! Are the tire not lego?
Thanks! The tires are actually from lego, they're the ones from the 42160 audi
Guys i think I might have know which band is his favourite :) Very nice model, seems to handle suprisingly well for a RWD especially this small!
Yeah, being an Offspring fan and a LEGO fan, I decided to merge the two with this channel :) About the model, yes, it's quite overpowered, but it handles pretty good. Still, I'm not exactly the best driver so I hit jumps wrong dozens of times. I'm actually considering making a bloopers video :) would you be interested in seeing one?
Wow, amazing and very powerful model for its weight
Thanks! The chassis was actually designed by N1K0L4, hats off to him :)
Reminds me of arrma infraction, put some duck tape on wheels, it's gonna be the most fun you'll ever havr
Thank you! Yeah, it's very similar to the Arrma infraction, but it's RWD. I tried taping the wheels, but it actually made it drift worse as it lacked any traction, and because of that, steering was pretty much non existent. Thank you for leaving a comment!
* starts experimenting with the awd version *
@@nikola_104Can't wait to see that AWD version!
proud to say once again, all i see is flames🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥another goat build from yours truly
Thank you! I apreciate that :)
Actually the chassis started out as a experiment to make a small but powerful chassis. Then when I built and tested it I realized that 2 BuWizz motors are just too much for something this small. But as it is very fun driving it, I made the instructions too. Good to see someone actually made a full model out of it, I like it :).
Thanks! Yeah, 2 BuWizz motors is way too much power for a model this small, but I really wanted to see how it would perform anyway :) For BuWizz Camp, I'll probably make something more reasonable, like 1 BuWizz motor with a differential as steering radius is very important.
fire build🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥keep up the good work
Thank you! Your support is very appreciated!

You really want to win at BW camp 2024 =)
@alexandruilea6471 Yeah, I do :) But the model I'll bring there most likely won't be this one as I plan on making a 4 BuWizz motor version of the chassis.
Do you have some picture chassis?, I'm thinking about building a model with 6 or 8 buwizz motors and a two-speed gearbox, what do you think?
I'll try to release the instructions today, but no promises. A 6-8 BuWizz motor offroader sounds like a bonkers idea :) although the gearbox may take up too much space.
@@Anotherbrickintheworld Hey, the model would already be quite big, it's possible to make it 6x6.
Looks very cool how do you use gears on gearbox?
Thanks! For the gears, it's the bugatti chiron 20T clutch gear and 16T clutch gear which are engaged with a driving ring. The design is a modified version of Zerobrick's simple offroader
Nice, awesome model as usual, good to see you trying a gearbox. I really like the way you make the suspension perfectly soft enough, you could try adding some friction in the suspension arms to act as dampers. BTW, congrats on 150 subscribers, I hope you'll continue getting more subs and making awesome models :)
Thank you! It's very inspiring to see these comments :) About the friction dampners, it sounds like a great idea! I may try it for the next high speed offroader. What do you think I should build next?
Next, you could first finish that one RWD onroad MOC (I don't want to leak anything here) and then after that you could build some type of a buggy, low COM and geared more for speed.
@@nikola_104 Yes, I could, in a similar fashion to your excellent lightweight buggy :)
