Difference between RoR and PRoR hydropower projects
Describes two types of hydropower projects: **Run-of-river (RoR)** and **pondage-regulated run-of-river (PRoR)**. **RoR projects** generate power directly from river flow, ceasing operation when flow is insufficient. **PRoR projects**, in contrast, use daily pondage to regulate power generation according to demand, operating like RoR plants during high flow periods.
