Переглядів 29 тис.16 годин тому

I CAUGHT so many BEAUTIFUL fish from this TINY RIVER
Переглядів 17 тис.11 місяців тому
A day well spent searching for a 1.5lb Grayling along the River Itchen. The river Itchen is a chalk stream located in Hampshire that is considered one of the best for fly fishing, however as trout aren’t in season I opted to target a Grayling trotting maggots on light tackle. @DrennanTackleTV www.drennantackle.com alfierussellangler
SURPRISE fishing in Central LONDON
Переглядів 35 тис.11 місяців тому
A cold winters evening trolling the banks of central London in search of predator species such as Pike & Perch. Fed by the River Thames and with depths of up to 42ft there's a huge volume of water to search through so it was much to our surprise when a unexpected species appeared. @DrennanTackleTV www.drennantackle.com alfierussellangler

If you unemployed it's good to use molehill ......... Mole on the dole 🐾
Mole on the dole… great tactic down molesly xxx
Used mole hill soil groundbait as a kid used to lift rocks up free worms and grubs! Another good one is mug duck feeders for there bread! 😉👍🏻
Nice video Alfie, is that Hoddesden?
It you want free worms got to any local stables and look in the horse muck pile, ours is always rammed with them
Love your river fishing vids 👌
Glad you like them!
Never thought of dirt for a ground bait, thinking about it maybe the idea came from dirt to the modern mixes. 👍
Love the Acolyte rod, have a 12ft rod myself and i find it amazing
I love it!😊
Love the videos mate 🥇
Thanks 👍😊
Lovely bit of fishing there bro. 👌
Il always gutted when the videos finished as live watching them , look forward to a new one soon and hopefully a big perch capture before the seasons out 👍
You and me both!😅
Nice video
Nice vid as always how many 30 pound carp would say in the copper mill to go at gonna give it a go this year fished the reservoirs ain't fished copp8mill yet seen some good ones in there and watched your video videos on it tight lines mate
Why do you not use a centre pin reel fishing these small trotting rivers?
I sometimes do! Mainly on faster flowing water. But a all round better reel in my opinion is a fix spool
Hi Alfie, try Loading "Some" of your stick floats, using Drilled, .22 Air Rifle Pellets, pushed up the Stem. You don't need as many shots on the Line - I do this with some of my Home made floats as well. 🎣
Yeah but you used petrol in your car to get there…”fortunately willys worms sponsors me so the petrols free” 😆😉
Ive used the cow muck were its decomposed to the point that red worms are plentiful as ground bait with a sprinkle of pellets and mole soil . couple of small worms or a peice of a bigger worm for barbel on the ribble, had some serious red letter in coulerd water , certainly save alot of money like you say 👍
Love your vids bro always smashing it keep it up !🫡🫶
Appreciate it❤
how much did your red maggots cost
@@fishypie fortunately I’m sponsored by willysworms but the groundbait is totally free! 😊
The title is a bit misleading. You still paid for the maggots and other hook baits.
@@mattholmes2589 hey mate. I’m lucky to be sponsored so fortunate the maggots are supplied by willysworms. The groundbait was free 🙂 also from Mother Nature !
Bros there’s ways u can get and make ur own maggots …
Should of dug up some worms
great video :~) this is 100% the best part of summer
Mint wacth Alfie well done 👍
Never a good idea next to a path a dog could of had a wee on it
My Dog loves pissing on them tbh
In the Autumn try Woodlice as hook bait....you might be surprised how you can bag up on them and free
Never thought of that, I'm going to try thanks!
Pulling all the tricks out the bag! I have heard that grasshoppers were a great surface chub bait!
Me and my Dad ( RIP ) Used to use mud to cloud water back in the day. Good job mate.
im sorry for your loss sounds like you have a lot of good memories to thank him for
❤️😊
Do yk any good rivers for carp in Kent for doubles?
Medway if you put the time in
What a beautiful spot
Good video
Great video. 👍
There is another You Tuber, who goes after small species. Based in the West Mids, Stuart Bloor.
I used to live on Colliers Woid High Street, early 00s.
Try sticklebacks too.
really cool vid!!
A 38" monitor full of content UA-cam has served up. The mouse did a wheelspin across the desk to your video. Brilliant watch and please do more like this. The quality of the footage and sound wasn't lost on me one bit either. Top work, Mr Russell!
My lad had a 13.5 pound pike out the cannal i was shocked thought it was gunna bite his arm off😮 ✅🏆🌟
Some nice fish on this video great fishing 🎣👌✅🏆
Good to see those scales used to weigh summat different 😂. Good vid ❤
Tell ya mate I'm a carp angler for 25 years but nobody is doing this your just reminding us that the little fellas in rivers canals are great fun too all the best mate
Jeweller scales 🤔
Really interesting video but marred for me by the casual blasphemy. I'm sure you mean no harm by it but it's perhaps worth bearing in mind that it is really offensive to many people, myself included. Will still watch your videos but for me, at least, they would be even better without the blasphemy. I hope you'll take this criticism in the spirit it was intended.
I used to live round the corner to that sainsburys stretch, I never knew barbel were there. Super cool.
A few years back I saw a programme on BBC about Trout fusing in and around London. That stretch of the wandle was supposed to have trout.
Gudgeon, ruffe, minnow, bleak. Get them all.
Love it this is exactly how we all started
Nice fishing
Why real and net to fish mini monsters ? Look at micro fishing in Japan where fishermen use basic tackles.
Hi buddy, both recent records have some from ponds, lakes, so perhaps a long shot in running water????
Its so refreshing to see a youngster like yourself taking an interest in going fishing and appreciating the whole experience . Tight lines to you .
Ex pat who now lives in Oz love this stuff Alfie... doesn’t have to be 30lb to give you a thrill. Hope you catch that 24grm monster before too long 😁🇦🇺🏴
Cracking little fish the minnow ..
Fished them spots many times over the yrs. Good to see the koi still hanging around by that sainsburys bridge. 🇬🇧✌️
Great video, top angling.
