Obvious question but I assume those holes should not be there, they have been caused by corrosion?

Iam more of a large engine guy. I can't imagine assembling an engine without using a torque wrench to specifications, and bolt patterns.

I still say David manns wife was in cahoots with the truck driver, she hired him to terrorize her husband cuz she was mad at him from an argument they had .

I loved this movie, but always disliked the crash scene at the end. Not for the reason most others dislike it (no explosion), but because the door to the truck is wide open before it goes over the cliff. It gives the impression that the mysterious truck driver jumped out and is still alive.

hi there, i have the same problem, and i know more people with this problem :( how are yo going to fix? I had thought about welding aluminum, but that area is so deteriorated that I don't think it is an area suitable to withstand welding, I think the only solution will be to buy another heat exchanger, 1800 euros :(

I have the same engine room in the 17 foot 2012 Bayliner that I keep on my 16,000 pound capacity lift behind my house on the Middle River in Fort Lauderdale. The single 90 hp Mercury F90 outboard looks a bit strange in that big room....

That looks like the same truck that hit that Duncan dude on maximum overdrive. Plus that roar sound was also used in Jaws when it shows Bruce sinking to the bottom. Speilberg said it was a dinosaur roar from some old movie. He also said Jaws and Duel were basically one in the same. The shark basically being what the truck was on the land. I watched this really late one night when i was a kid and really got into it. I liked how they never show the driver of the truck bc it added to the suspense. Notice how he does the same thing in Jaws. Yeh Bruce may have kept malfunctioning but I think it turned out even better than if it would have showed the shark a lot. Both are very good movies and Jaws is my all time fav. Speilberg is the best director ever IMO.
