Motor head shenanigans
Can we blow the motor up in this 97 GT?
Note: The 4.6 had a blown head gasket to start with. The engine never fully blows as we were able to still back the car into the garage.

How to replace spark plugs and coil packs in a 99-04 Mustang GT.
Переглядів 12 тис.2 роки тому
Step by step on the simple job of replacing spark plug and coil packs on a 99-04 GT.
Do you have the actual name of the spark plugs you can put in the comments and the coil packs you used please I’m looking to buy the same ones
So I have a question I have the same coil packs and do they have to be in a certain order if so how do you tell?
No specific order needed I normally just work front to back.
Hey! I was just wondering what size socket you used! Just wanna double check because I have a 5/8
A 5/8s spark plug socket will work just fine
What about a 14mm deep socket
@@ricardoflores571116mm will work
You're not supposed to spike them off the ground
I did it on purpose to show how poor quality the stock pump gears and why you should swap your billet if you want to rev your coyote to 8,000 rpms
@HBbuilds I know man I was jk lol
@@HBbuildsI agree they should be replaced but where’s the proof of strength without a fair comparison of billet hardened gears? Ie- throw some boundarys at a wall lol
Appreciate the refresher. You explain your step by step process, very well keep up the good work, bro
Thank you! I appreciate it
@@HBbuildsdude you need to zoom in so people can see how your changing it. Your to far away. Your not showing anybody anything.
@@KrishnaSingh-ow1ie sorry one of the first videos I made I was more focused on explaining.
Pretty far away can’t see nothing
Facts
Exsctly. I'm looking for Pete garage or Chris fix tutorial on this. This guy is terrible. Thus is not the way to show people who never did thid.
If anybody have the link for pet or Chris fix. Thanks
😂😂😂😂😂
SN95’s are tougher than I thought. That thing was eatin like Dianne Keaton
It’s definitely a unit. More to come!
Yooooo wtf
🤔....... yep😆. I mean you can blow anything up if you try hard enough.
I'm impressed by the tires lol
They are troopers 😂
I’m not quite sure how this video has 528 views and 50 thousand likes
Hear me out, I'll still buy it
Can’t do that we have more to come with it!
@@HBbuildstrade for a dirtbike or pistol? 😂
Thank you for the offer but I don’t plan on getting rid of it 😂
Banger!!!!
You gonna swap in a DOHC 4.6 engine or what?
Have a future project with that sort of thing but it will be with another one of our project cars.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
C’mon algorithm
Yes. Yes you can
A Viking send off
Poor mustang what did it do to deserve the death penalty😢
Had a blown head gasket on driver bank. We figured try to blow the motor before we start building it. We have another motor sitting on a stand for it. More info coming soon
@@HBbuildsidk.. Maybe just repair it properly instead of abusing that poor engine?
@@juanpaVlz I have a fresh motor I put together sitting in the garage for it along with 3 other 4.6 motors. This stock motor was nothing I needed.

Yes zero issues
So your able to take out the other coils with the fule rail still their?
Yes
Are those the coils from Amazon??
These are 22781-KA edelbrock coil packs
Thanks for the video changing my plugs friday all OEM Motorcraft plugs and coils I’ve heard there can be problems great video.
Thank you! They can be difficult if you have coolant or water leaking in the spark plug holes causing the plugs to corrode.
That is why we temper steel
Super helpful video, my 99 just started misfiring so this was a great video, thanks!
No problem. Thank you for watching!
@@HBbuilds do you have to remove the fuel injectors/rail
@@nickperez6380 no, you can work around them.
