How about focus on less? We often try to do waay to much, make to many commitments aand then end up fuxxing up everything. Remember rhere are only 4000 weeks in the average life span and only 1000 of those are your prime adult years. I'm half way through My 4000 and at the end of My prime years and what have I got to show for it? Nothing because I alway tried to do to much.
Where i get that sweater
hey jeff, can you please your instagram? thank you : )
I like it - simple but effective!
Glad you like it!
Being inside the "dark gray tunnel" is one of the things that most drains us of energy. It feels as if time does not pass but stretches endlessly, similar to being inside a black hole. This tunnel seems like it will never end, and then, suddenly, it all end and we are thrown out into the blinding light. The most important thing I have learned is that all our actions while in the "tunnel" are the most critical in our lives. Despite the painful and paralyzing feelings, if we continue to be kind and find the strength to open our hearts to the right people, the time we spend in the "tunnel" can become a period of learning for us. However, if we fail to act appropriately, we will return to the tunnel until we learn.

haha nice!
Why put the money in your analogy? Take the money out of the equation and tell the same story. The bag of money leads to an assumption that makes your analogy fall apart. Think about it and figure out the assumption. Good day...
because the story is ABOUT MONEY. that's the point. you don't get the money if you give up.
Needed to hear this, thank you.
I guess you give up when that one friend is gone for one reason or another. comes to a point when its all gone.
but you'd be giving up the bag of money if you did that.
@@BareBuon money is not everything.
GOOD
Great analogy! Glad to hear that you stuck to the path and found a positive result 👍
Thank you! yeah you just gotta keep going
What have you faced like this???
Still working on this 😅
you got this. you're the man Robbie
Not gonna lie, I clicked to see the beard.
Your mic is so good,, it sounds almost like voice over
thanks. I actually just used DESCRIPT studio sound button.
🍉
Hey Jeff oh WOW it's been a long time since I've seen you , I hope your doing wel. Love the video. Mindset is key yes.
Thank you! Hope you’re well
@@BareBuon yes I'm not too bad thanks Jeff, my Beard is growing back again after I foolishly cut it off. You learn by your mistakes though don't you. Have a great night Jeff
0. I refuse to have bad days.
i'M bRERE RABBIT i LIVE IN THE BRIAR PATCH.
Sorry idk that reference
Dale Carnegie has a great book on this "How to stop worrying and start living" It's probably the only self help book that made me cry haha!
oh wow. from you that says a lot. I actually never read that book! I'll put it in the queue
This is the first video I've seen of yours. Us men, most of us, it seems, cant even talk to our wives. They - don't get it. I'm over 50 years old, been scratching and grinding and clawing my whole life. Had to start over 3 times. I'm tired bro. I don't want to work any more, knowing what I know. I'm sore, worn down, and fed up. And that's only my physical state. But it would be my saddest, most pathetic moment, if I gave up providing for my family. I guess I just want an easier way. The more money we earn through our blood, sweat and yes, tears, the more the govt takes. But what does the govt do when they need money? They print it, which devalues every dollar we bleed for. Just fed up. But I'm not a quitter. So, just like you say, WE ALL JUST HAVE TO KEEP FORGING ON. I appreciate you. May we all survive just one more day. Until tomorrow, where we hope to survive just one more.
I feel you in every way. it's sometimes just too much to bare. but we are better than that. we are stronger than our problems. Right?! thank you for your support here and to commiserating with me.
@@BareBuon not sure where I'd be if I wasn't stronger than my problems. But just like men everywhere, I get up every single day and take care of business. Just tired , man.
@@biffjohnson2076 I hear you. I hear you.
I have been having a really hard time also. Dealing with my elderly dad w/ dementia is really hard to watch. It is so frustrating. Also it puts my wife & I at odds sometimes. But, we pull together & with Gods grace we get through. Keep your head up with whatever you're going through. Keep pressing forward.
I know the feeling with my step dad went through that as well. it's tough. keep YOUR head up!
People with beards make the best mental health videos
haha how it should be.
Appreciate you being vulnerable and showing it’s okay to feel things. You’re the man. 💪🏻
It's the only way. sometimes you gotta leak it out to relieve the pressure
Man, watching your videos is like talking to a good friend. I'm going through some tough times right now and I'm kinda alone on this path, but when I watch your videos it feels so much better. You might be feeling like you're just talking to a camera and into the void but trust me you're not. You're really helping people out by sharing your thoughts, experience and emotions. P.S. Sometimes life is hard, but we will get through this, I believe in that!
wow. thank you. I've literally never heard or thought about this. yes It really does feel like I'm just talking to a camera all the time. I forget. it's a very strange thing!
Hey man, i really really enjoy all of your videos. First found you through Beard Brand years ago, somehow discovered your YT channel. Been an avid fan ever since. Us viewers, however many of us may be, have your back. Stay up , Buon. 💪🏽
Hey, thank you. I appreciate you very much and this comment. thank you.
This too will pass.
best phrase ever.
Hey man, I'm hoping that you can stay strong and just keep moving forward despite what may have been thrown at you. Getting through every single day while experiencing any type of pain is a struggle, but it's also an achievement. I've been there. Take your time to heal and keep moving forward - even if it's one step at a time. Look after yourself and take care 👍
thank you mike. I appreciate the support. 🙇🏻
Stay up B. You bring a lot of people joy man. Might be hard to see right now but know it’s true. Keep the faith.
thank you. it's good to hear this. I do forget that it's not just my world I live in!
With you man, here if you need. ✌️
thank you my friend. I hope you're well Kurt.
thank you, this insight is so good!
I appreciate you. thank you.
Watched your camping video. Doesn’t looked like a minimalism lifestyle… so much stuff you had just for one trip
ok.
You should extract the main ideas and try to apply them to your life.
Thanks for the advice! Especially useful in business
I see it differently a little, I work in service to the community and the people around me so that they may have a future that is better, doing that thing is better than planning for my own future. That being said though I do make small incremental steps towards a state of being that I would like to be or achieve but I do it in the knowledge that the material thing will not make me happy it’s the spiritual and the intangible that matters. Not sure if I made sense
I believe that's on the same page as what I'm saying. it's about making a difference.
You have made a difference to many ppls lives over many years mate.
I hope so. but doesn't stop me from still pursuing making a difference today!
@@BareBuon very true.
yeah packing party. always fun and interesting to reset your "stuff"
the best for sure! I love getting rid of things!
Once I know which direction to go, arguing with someone about how to get there isn’t worth it as long as we’re moving forward. Some people need to make three left turns to make a right. I’ll just make the right turn and wait for them to arrive when they finally do. It's one of those “nice of you to finally join us” moments without having to say it. No need to argue. No need to debate. It just is what it is.
haha yeah. exactly. well put. just let people do their thing, and let them do it their way, no reason to let it offset your own path!
Word! Good advice. I'm in that type of situation often.
Glad it was helpful! it's simple. but once you get used to doing it, the ego let's go!
Yep, am on it 😊
great!
Keep on with the great work, it's much appreciated 😊
thank you James
Remember to always do your cardio!
wise words
thank you! Wise Comment!
First time viewer of the channel. Good advice.
The landscape is just amazing! Looks so quiet and relaxing 🥰
thank you! I agree, one of my favorite places near me!
Listened to this during warming up for my morning run. I love the way you've worded the idea and had a good laugh. Truly, no one cares, and as soon as we're able to see that we become free.
amen. we should all be striving for freedom
So true, I’ve had a large beard for 20 years, I shaved it off to 1mm, nobody noticed, everyone is wrapped up in their own shit, nobody cares, so do what you love - slightly different but the same concept
def same concept!
I have a stack of things to sell off on eBay, but I refuse to do it myself. I keep thinking there is someone who has little opportunity who could put themselves to work selling what I find. ....I keep thinking.....but that person never shows up. Time will tell, but I promised myself not to get wrapped up in eBay.
haha yep!
It's a tricky one, Jeffrey... because too much stubborn focus can make one neurotic, and often ruin other important things in your life (like relationships, sleep, health, etc )... The key for me, is to have a mechanism in place (or a rule) to switch off focus, because you've made it a rule. No matter what (ie. A loved one interrupts you, even if they just want to hang out with a coffee) then i "pause" the productivity/focus... I often get carried away with systems and productivity, and make myself feel worse (or more guilty) than when I was less focused. Especially when it comes to the quality of creativity. I try not to look at the details of structure too much (i leave the hyperfocus for the details of the project I'm working on) and not so much on the structure OUTSIDE of it. The one basic structure i (try) to follow is: Show up, and that's it. If one can show up, then 90% of one's problems are solved, and the 10% one is trying to fine tune (to get it to 100%) just works against the 90%.
hey dude! hope you're well. I agree. it happens to me more than I'd like to admit! / I wish I had that kind of control you mentioned, how did you develop more of that? the ability to show up and winning of situations where it's, other people vs you. I struggle with! / I'm so detail oriented, that's my problem. I love details! /
Thanks. That was a good reminder
First!
