Does your Avocado leaves look like this?
Congratulations on thr new equipment
Too bad. Hackberry is a good food source
Just got into tree work and man you are so underrated will be suggesting your channel to literally half the world😂 thanks for the content treebeast 🎉!! Helps ALOT 🙏 🙌
hey man.. just wondering what classes are needed to buy?
What is the difference between using the chainsaw and that machete? I grew watching my stepdad using chainsaw whenever he had to work on palm trees
Impressive! Removing a giant ironwood pine tree must require some serious skill and powerful equipment!
It doesn’t look like Ironwood and your saw would be dull fast!
Thanks for this! I was looking for a video of pruning a mature, overgrown mango. I also discovered that horses and donkeys really like the cut branches so that's another way to get rid of them if your clients have equines.
In my experience fire ants are protein-eating (meat, cat food, etc) ants and are not attracted to sweets at all.
Loving your work and videos really enjoying them. Those fire ants hurt. Here in Australia we get big Bull ants. They sure pack a big bite
Thank you! it's a fun profession. Man you guys have all kinds of biters out there, I bet that can be challenging
@KohalaTreeService it's just a huge island filled with venomous and dangerous creatures. But an absolute gorgeous place to work and live. I love this profession I wouldn't do anything else
Small kine machete action
yessah
That was a little scary!
Great work
The lizard on the log is dope
How does your boot feel when climbing?
I don't like it, it's uncomfortable, I been using a pair with more padding in the shoes. I now use Aku Boots from REI, super comfortable
Thats alot of investment
You just laid those trees down so nicely. True professional.
Bro why dont you just use a carabiner for the rigging end of your rope?
Solid point you have there my friend! I should have been doing that the whole time lol
3:00 took the words out of my mouth duuude
Whoa.... Damn bro. Close one.
Hey bro, I'm on the same path in Iowa.... Just wondered how things are going with your business. Hope things are still going well! Safe sawing!
Good stuff man. Your channel popped up when I was searching for ISA cert prep. Did you take the test yet? I’m prepping to take it soon. This looked like a fun climb
Yes its Pretty long, and definitely worth taking a lot of time going back through the courses and fact checking your work before taking the final. I'm pretty close to the Final but there is so much to learn I am probably going to go back through all my work and refresh. here is a link to the Website if you would like to start your Arboriculture Journey! good luck www.isa-arbor.com/
@@KohalaTreeService sounds good - thanks
Test is pretty easy just study the 4th addition and take the practice test on the isa website to highlight any of your week sections and study the crap out of those
"its kinda dangerous" 🤣
😂
Our crew is just getting introduced to Srt after so many years of drt really a game changer.
Kerja bagus kawan 👍💪
SRT is the best. Good climbing! Stay safe brother 🤙🏻
That tension was crazy.
Nice climbing and cutting 🤙🏻
Cut the roots first, good lesson learned. Good cutting and climbing brotha🤙🏻
Thanks Man, Definitely good advice!
Allright fullas now chip it' haha nice job mini rainforest.
That was done for a excavator buddy. no chipper needed
@@KohalaTreeService yer figured. Cheers
@@julianalderson3938 That tree was also super sappy, chainsaws had a bunch of sappy tar stuck all over the Bars, first time removing a Banyan. Cheers bro
@@KohalaTreeService yer im in sydney done lota figs. Really sux on the ropes n zigzags etc. Also itches bad. Worse in the heat seem to really bleed. Take care out there bro.
@@KohalaTreeService lota guys use older rope an pruskic. Cos can get where just cant decend any lower. Cheers
Adjust the carb on that saw my friend, its an accident waiting to happen. Sounds like the chains still spinning after the cut
Yes it was definitely out of tune that week, thanks
@@KohalaTreeService the spark arrester on those saws gets clogged up, I'd clean that then adjust the carb
Thanks for sharing your super helpful and detailed video!

Im on my journey as well landscape tree trimming company sucks working for a company when you do all the work and pay you like crap stay safe
Ya, just remember that when you're the boss. Gotta take care of your guys if you expect them to take care of you.
Bro got too much gear
Good job bro. Keep it up. I started a small tree/landscaping business 2 years ago with a similar story. Built from the ground up and didnt have a truck to begin with. Im still growing as we all are but your definitely on the right track with the right attitude.
mind sharing your login info with me? I don't wanna pay 500
How did you find this out as I have never seen anyone do this and is the meat at the very top of the tree. This has to be a joke.
The only problem I think is the spurs, the glue sticks inside.
man I just don't like how big they made the Velcro straps, I have to tighten them all the way and there is a bunch of strap hanging out
Nice! Go get it! Climb safe!
Solid 💪🏽
Keep making videos you’re doing amazing keep your head up high
Thank you!
They have the potential to weck your chipper
