What a man Gordon Murray you gave me a beautiful childhood watching your work 😊
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Gordon Murray, you gave me a beautiful childhood and ever lasting memories xx
50+ feeling nostalgic. Watched some Chigley and Trumpton then saw this. The creator of them all!. UA-cam is bloody amazing.
Who the hell needs Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol when kids could watch fantastic children's shows like Camberwick Green, Postman Pat and Bagpuss? RIP Gordon Murray!!!
Thank you Uncle great work
If you were his nephew, then you’re my relation on my mother’s side of the family. Would you be interested in getting in contact? Gordon was my maternal grandfather and I’m somewhat estranged from my mother’s family simply due to geography
@@thomasmollett9250 I think Gordon is my great Uncle . He is related to my Grandmother Dodd's, my Grandmother has since passed away . Do you know Warren or Dodds family?
Gone but not forgotten.. Rest In Peace Gordon Murray..
what a legend , bless him just got the boxed set its well written and teaches simple and good values and brian cant amazing
He is hesitant at first, but after the first question, he's sharp as a tack, and recalls everything. Glad I could put a face to the name.
Rest in Peace Gordon Murray.
I made some GIFS from Trumpton, Camberwick Green & Chigley & they'll be on twitter & FB. Great childhood memories
What a wonderful man who i thank for giving me great memories of my childhood. I still love these programmes today 50 years on.
He seems like a nice guy, so enthusiastic about his creation even after all these years.
What a nice chap, a true gentleman.
My childhood (watch with mother) & wonderful memorys
Only just realised that we have lost Gordon :..( RIP to a dear man who made our childhoods wonderful when the UK was a gentler, kinder more innocent country. Why you Peter Firmin and Brian Cant were never knighted is disgusting. Thank you for the years of happiness - sorry this is late.
Neither Oliver Postgate who created a certain welsh standard gauge railway
I like that. Wow.
A genius, these are the types of shows that all children should be raised watching. It will teach them what society should be like, treating others with respect. A must watch for my children / future children.
In some ways I'm kinda glad they haven't "rebooted" this, because I know it would be political trash like most bbc stuff now.
My 7 year old loves these, he’s been watching them on you tube since he was 5
@@annekatrivedi4448 I am surprised that old format of Trumpton, Camblewick Green, Mr. Benn, Bagpus, Noggin the Nog isn't done these days .. you know with a soft voiced narrator and basic animation.
A true Gentleman in the fullest sense of the word! What a legacy! Millions of children delighted, memories made that last a lifetime, (I should know, saw these when they first came out!) Rest now sir. You'll never be forgotten!
That’s how he was described in his eulogy at the funeral. He was my grandad
My favourite is guess.... WINDY MILLER
