When you said Half Life 2 is 2 years older than you, it kind of broke my heart. 😂 I was 21 when it came out. I had been looking forward to it for years at that point (6 years since the original Half Life had blown my mind), and man, it did not disappoint. I'm so happy that it is finding an audience even now. What a classic!

It blows my mind to learn that Half Life is only one year younger than I am. No matter how many times I learn it it still shocks me every time.

That's because Half-Life 2 was amazing for it's time, and nobody has pushed the genre forward since Bioshock - if I'm wrong, please tell me, I'd love some good single player FPS to play.

the half life duology is so unbelievably iconic and influential , so many games would be so different without either of them
