This is a work that means a lot to me--it is one of the first works of mine that really feel like my own, and the content of the video (primarily consisting of manipulated images and footage shot by me in the Rock Springs Nature Reserve in Decatur, IL) resonate very strongly with what I was thinking and doing during the years of 2008-2010.

元々はユーフォの曲なので蜜柑さんが持っている楽譜はそちらではないでしょうか。この動画ではチューバで吹けるよう１オクターブ下げて演奏しているのだと思います。

any tips on the sixthlets near the end?
I don't know if I'm too late, but a massive part for me was repetition and playing with a metronome. It helped me get the notes in time and make sure they were right. Listening to this recording multiple times also helped me get the feel and tone of the solo down

@@eiyunn6992 That's great! I also think you should go to state aswell if you did that well! Most music pieces are about repatition and listening to the piece. Just make sure you hammer in the places you struggle. Do you have a counselor or teacher you are doing lessons with that can help?

what kind of tuba are you using in this video?
I am using a B&S PT-6 CC tuba. Great horn, although I no longer own it--I now play a smaller CC tuba, which fits me a lot better

Great performance my friend. I got a superior with distinction at state on this back in 11th grade (1991). I so wish I had a tuba now. This was my favorite solo ever. The Haddad suite was #2. Hopefully I can one day afford a tuba so I can play again some day. ♥

Who else is playing this year for there solo? I am and I enjoy this piece a lot. Update: It’s been two years since my Senior Spring semester for the class of 2019 and wanted to say I got “Superior” at the Texas Solo and Ensemble Contest hosted for the North Texas area, for Region 24 I think. If it’s not superior, it’s the one that basically means “you played perfect and then some”.
