I've only heard that from 1 other customer. And nice modification to add the spacer. All decks are different and might require a spacer or a few washers. Enjoy your EZ Edge!
I’d like to know if the original one can work on residential mowers? I’ve got several low voltage lines I need to run and this looks like it’d be great option!
Unfortunately, I don't recommend this product for use on residential mowers. The decks are generally not thick and heavy-duty enough.

That is a very good question and something I am working on providing. However, I can tell you that only 2% of my customers have returned the product due to unsatisfactory performance.

Would this be safe to use on a residential lawn tractor, such as my John Deere E120?
The EZ Edge is designed and recommended for commercial grade mowers. I would not recommend installing it on a residential lawn tractor.

No mention of checking for mower blade interference??
You should not engage mower blades while EZ Edge is attached. It is recommended to remove the EZ Edge prior to mowing.
2008enzed it's on the outside of the deck, I don't think the blade is anywhere near it.
He Knows - I was referring to the bolt and pin that penetrate the mower deck and into the space where the blades rotate. The manufacturer responded to me that you should remove ez edge before doing any mowing. That’s a design flaw, in my view. Otherwise a clever idea for edging.
2008enzed on most mowers I have worked on and used there is minimum 1/2 to 1 in clearance between blade and deck I personally see this as a non issue , I think this is a great invention and plan on purchasing one. If bolts are to long just get shorter ones. My understanding on mower decks is that blades are shorter now to help form a cushion of air to help with vacuum effect to make bagging more effective , that's what I was told by people who have a higher pay grade than me. But in regards to you good question, one can ever be to safe when dealing with power equipment.

The deck should be all the way up. There should be about 1/2 inch between the ground and the bottom of the EZ Edge when marking the holes. That way, you can lower the deck to the depth you would like to edge.
Will this work on my John Deer E120 riding mower?
Nice. Can you have an open trailer attached and have this come down onto the bed of the trailer? I dont know why someone would need this done, but just wondering.
Yeah, that thought crossed my mind, but the rails of the trailer get in the way. Would probably work on a trailer without rails.
