That's the first time I've seen someone use a piece of wood or block on the jacking plate; using those are flat enough. Good work though, this is essential knowledge for all people. Just had to put the spare on my car the other day. I had similar damage to yours, but it was on the other side of the tire, that faces the tie-rods. Had my tire pressure dash light not come on, I would have never known. It was hissing/leaking like crazy as I took it off, too. 🥵

lol the R50 flash made to be manually open. Then you can activate it with the shutter . Not many people know. Video is legit just not hidden . Tells you on the manual

Its not hidden. There's a button to release it...assuming you haven't just broken it.

Yeah, ummm, how about for safety’s sake we don’t do that on soft ground, dirt or grass? Your someone’s son, dad, brother, best friend. The want you to stick around. No rush, find a nearby street. Safer.

Wrong place for the stand the car has cut outs on the frame rail to set your stand safely ...

That’s because he didn’t put plywood under his jack to distribute weight on the soft ground

I always use 2 jack stands, on the concrete. Lower the weight of the car slowly onto the stands... Then bring the jack up to make contact with the frame again as a backup and check the jack periodically in case it "leaks down" a bit.

Just trying to get crushed jack stands are life savers when used on concrete or with wood underneath them and always use 2 less chance of it doing this and always keep jack under the load just for additional safety
