Immenso Shklyarov … una persona umile e schiva che si trasforma, in modo sorprendente, in un principe quando sale sul palcoscenico per interpretare pressoché tutte le grandi figure maschili del balletto romantico e moderno. Se esistono les Etoiles una di esse è certamente Vladimir 💙👏
Diana was rejected twice at the Vaganova academy, and only accepted at her third audition. In the beginning she was at the bottom of her class, and only one teacher believed in her. But she kept working, and in the end, she graduated with the highest grades ever given at Vaganova!
You'd be surprised. People are actually naturally very thin especially Eastern slavs. In ballet yes you must watch your diet but if you're starting with good genetics then you're going to look very very thin. I am 5 ft 9 and 129 lb and I'm not even trying to keep weight off. If I actually tried to keep it off I'd probably be 115, I'm Russian American. Russia and the vaganova method is well-regarded for specifically selecting dancers that have the body type for ballet so as not to encourage eating disorders. My aunt was always a size zero and people always told her she needed to gain weight even the doctor but she never could gain weight
Bright star is shining from being smaller / younger to shining high by the end of 8 intense years of hard work on physical and psychological level, and graduate very successful being intelligent, tough , outshining other stars.
An amazing classical ballet dancer and highly skillful ballerina!!!👍👍👍for some reason the acting of this role doesn’t fit her. So far Alina Somova’s acting in this role has been most successful. But Shakira’s fluid to perfection movements are very impressive. I don’t know what kind of role will fit her the best. May be “Sleeping Beauty,” I don’t know. For sure she is very talented and skillful , and she will definitely shine in specific to her character, look, acting skills ballet role.

I love how she chose to do her arms au couronne for each balance, a la Margot Fonteyn. I think Khoreva makes a better Aurora than Odette/Odile.

Very nice! I'm glad, Vaganova decided to show off some of their talented young dancers this way. They deserve their share of attention from the world.
