I'm old enough to remember when Old Sacramento was completely Abandoned. There was absolutely nothing going on there. That's where the Bumbs use to hang out and catch the trains coming through town. This was back in the 1960s when America was still a free Country. Unfortunately not anymore.

It would be pretty cool if there was a 'live map' overlay. Also if it could be in 1080p. Thanks for the tour though! Very interesting and good tips.

Moved from the Bay Area ten years ago and have seen rental prices triple in that time. Fine if you're a State worker making decent money or in tech but it's still expensive. One thing I detest is the number of terrible drivers on the roads. I was a professional driver in the BA for years so I've seen it all, but the drivers up here are a breed into themselves. Fortunately my saving grace is my bike and the wonderful bike trails around the region.

Elk grove has all the ingredients to live a very happy life ,believe me it spent 18 years there and the last 4 in elkgrove my best years so far ,not even living now in san diego makes me not missing elk grove,when you live in elk grove you are close but away from nice bay area traffic troubles ,close to lakes rivers reno plays tahoe outdoors ,in another words,,sac and elk grove are the places to be,elk grove folsom Roseville Rocklin,,,nice litle towns for sure

I just moved to Sacramento from Virginia. Two of the important things that I saw/ see are dust & damaged roads. The roads are bumpy and many pot holes are there. Especially in arden arcade and many streets in surrounding areas. Spread of trash. I thought Sacramento was at least cleaner than Baltimore. When it comes to roads, Virginia and Maryland have clean roads and areas. Another thing is missing the existence of Dunkin Dunt shops. In DMV areas, there are plenty coffee shops and restaurants on every mile or so. In Sacramento you can't find Dunkin Dunt unless you drive 5 to 10 miles to find one..There are many pros and cons.

Watch your video, I don't live in Roseville I live in Chico a College town north of Sacramento in the county of Butte, please come up to Chico and do a pros and cons on Chico, if you decide to come up to this part of Northern California I highly recommend you go to UA-cam and check out the videos.
