You know, I vaguely remember a lot of metal elitists in the 2000's saying that slipknot was some kind of industry plant, and they had no talent besides Joey. It seems like they're more respected nowadays, but I kinda avoid crusty 80's thrash and 90's death metal enthusiasts who think music is a competition. I'm saying this as a guy who has seen a lot of local bands all over the country. They've got it here, whatever 'it' is. The groove and energy in this is crazy. I'd be having more fun at this show than I do at the shows of bands I like way more than slipknot.

I always say the drum sound on Vol 3 is my favorite of all time. I just love the kick, snare and how it's mixed so much. Turns out its not how its mixed, it's who's playing it, lmao.
