How to make Melt & Pour Swirl Tutorial
This video demonstrates a slightly different pouring technique than my usual past videos.
Not a big change, but I also changed up my base proportions slightly.
The result is a cross between swirls and marbling. I’ll let you decide….leave your opinion in the comments. Would you consider this a swirl or marbling or neither?
These are scented with Cucumber Melon fragrance oil and they smell very fresh and clean.

How to make Melt & Pour Candy Crush
Переглядів 1,6 тис.3 роки тому
For this project I used Candy Crush fragrance oil, so I wanted to make something really colorful to mimick different colored candies....without having to cut up embeds lol! This is also a "two-faced" soap, meaning that one side is more of a camouflage design, and the other side has a tie dye effect. I hope you enjoy this video, and thank you for your support.....and for helping me reach 1K subs...
My (Almost Disaster) Melt & Pour Soap Tutorial
Переглядів 7 тис.3 роки тому
This video shows the use of individual cavity molds and describes how I make my "two-sided" soaps. Also shows how I plane and bevel my soaps. I actually had alot go wrong while making this batch (it was a DISASTER), but luckily I was still able to salvage them. I hope you enjoy! I have never seen a soap like this before. Bravo!
I am impressed ! Well done.
Its great, just be the soap queen andvteach us newbies
Newbie here, melt and pour.was that 4lbs in that loaf?
Can You share the recipe
Hi, how much soap does one need to melt for this mould? Thank you
44 oz mold
@lfrederick8777 3 weeks ago where do you buy your soap do you buy it in bulk I find it kind of pricey to buy just the little containers of goats milk and such is there a company that has bigger bulk stuff thank you so ,much for your video..ya can ya tell i is a newbie too lol
I don’t like the fact that she doesn’t give you the measurements and doesn’t tell you that you have to keep reheating them
I apologize. I do talk about my measurements in another one of my videos but not this one :( Unfortunately you do have to reheat alot and I talk about that in my other video as well. I used to let it bother me but not anymore. My method requires several reheats because I let the base get very cool, and it also gives a more defined swirl. If you don't like having to reheat several times then this method may not be for you. Fortunately, there's other swirling techniques you could try that don't require reheating. A really good one is the acorn swirl. If you haven't tried that one yet, I would. It produces a different swirl but it's very pretty :)
What do u do with the skin
where do you buy your soap do you buy it in bulk I find it kind of pricey to buy just the little containers of goats milk and such is there a company that has bigger bulk stuff thank you so ,much for your video..ya can ya tell i is a newbie too lol
hello is anyone there I was just wondering if you could please tell me where I could buy soap in bulk instead of paying a whole lot
I just found your videos, this swirling is so gorgeous, and I like another am having trouble with the bases keeping a nice pouring consistency without glooping and repeated reheating, I've been using a double boiler but once my temps get down around the 104 range it gets thick and goopy. What should I try or try not to do? Thank you, your videos are great.
What kind of base are you using? Stephenson? SFIC? Crafters Choice? It definitely makes a difference and I might be able to better help you if I know which one.
Im so glad I found your video, im definitely saving it and subscribing!
Thanks for making this video. Turned out amazing. We are struggling with the consistency. We will keep at it. It’s a good learning experience.
Could you use a wax melter at 150-160F° to melt the mountain and keep it at a stable temperature?
I haven't personally done that but you could try it. However 150°-160° is gonna be too hot to swirl with SFIC base, which is what I'm using in this video. You may be able to swirl that warm with Stephenson base. With the SFIC you're gonna need to pour under 130°
@@jencrazysoaplady thank you so much!!!!!
You did a great job. It takes a lot to record something with your voice on it, and sometimes people put their whole body or face so hats off to you.
Hi there! I’ve just found your channel, I’m just starting out and have a couple of question: what did you spray on your soap in between colour pours and what was the stick thing you used! Thanks for making this I’ve found it super helpful x
You spray alcohol between pours to eliminate the bubbles and allow the layers to stick together.
Wow, the finished product is beautiful. Purple is my new favorite color since Prince died, it used to be blue. But I love this.
Hey, I'm a newbie at attempting the soap process. I've done a lot of research so much that I'm confused. I understand the cold press technique versus M&P however what I don't see a lot of is the total process. Everyone always has their product weighed out and everything. So the oils and fats I'm confused with. And how to pair them. Can you explain and do a video or add it here or add comments here? Or direct me to it. Thank you!
You’re definitely right about that. Newby to the soap making world and it was challenging finding any videos with melt and pour and specifically using the loaf mold. So I’m grateful that it was placed on your heart to do this video and share it. Thank you 😊 🫶🏾🙌🏾
Thank you for your kind words ❤️
You keep saying inexperienced..but these turned off BEAUTIFUL!!
Beautiful!! Very very helpful video, thank you!!!
The most professional & best looking swirl on M&P soap I've seen!
What did you mix your color with?
You did a great job. Thank you from a newbie
Pretty
I love it and this gives me hope to swirl melt and pour 🫗
I’d take 3 x wat you usually take. It’ll be busy. I’m from Iowa. I luv it. But the winters are very grey and cold. Prepare for the chill. !!! I currently have been in Kansas for almost 40 yrs. But my family lives in Iowa. Good luck to you. !!! Great video. !!!
Thank you for this video. I needed that as I’m working through problems that keep popping up. Going to try again today! So thank you!!!
Your soap is beautiful 🌻
I really like how u use a smaller cup to control your pour and how much ! great idea!
What's the spray ur using?
Beautiful! I’m a newbie also!
Thank you so much! 💓
Pretty
It looks beautiful!!!!
Thank you for sharing and please do show your cold process. I'm new to all of this and I have been kinda iffy about the cold part 🤦 Thanks again you also explain well 😊
This is the best technique have seen so far on swirl soap making
Prettiest soap I've seen!!! Hope to emulate your technique!!!
Thank you so much 💓
thank you there is not much in the way of just melt and pour videos on marbelizing that was great but could you tell me what you used for color was it food coloring?
No I use micas:)
the soap looks fantastic. especially the purple version! thanks for sharing!
What do you use for colorants? Mica?
Yes, mica
Did you use titanium dioxide for the white? Or white melt and pour?
I used white melt & pour. It was probably goat milk but I can't remember for sure
My first video about swirling and I’m a complete newbie…what are you spraying after the clear each time? Alcohol?
They came out beautiful, great job!
It’s very pretty, thank you for sharing 💚 edit: like a stain glass effect. 💜
This turned out so beautiful 💜🤍 please don’t feel you have to apologize I really appreciate you making this and quite enjoyed watching you. ( newbie myself) and I agree there’s not enough videos for m&p soap. keep doing your videos and the cut is gorgeous!! 🙌🏻🤩😍💕🫶🏻💜🤍
I've loved watching your video. I know you'll get it together. I know you'll do well and make some good coin for your effort. I've learned things too. Bless you from NZ.
Thank you so much 💓 💗
I loved your video
I think they turned out beautiful. Would it help if you stirred before each pour. Might eliminate some of the lumps. But anyway I love them.
Can I ask if you get sparkles on your hand when using Mica powder?
