Heyy, it worked with the NK finished in 7, the only issue is that CAPS LOCK turns the screen blackand no backlight, altough it writes in CAPs with the screen black, cannot write CAP without turning the screen black, everything else works fine, thanks!🙏🏻 My laptop is a GL553vd and the initial problem was no backlight and only working on/off… Any suggestions?

What if certain keys dont work?

I followed the instructions to the letter, but it did not work. On a ASUS G752 VS. Combination of FN and functions work, but no letters, numbers, ESC, enter nor space key work. I can't for the life of me find a solution.

There is one major flaw with this design, and its the fact that there is nothing holding the locking bar in place inside the slot you cut out. Assuming you manufacture this (most likely 3d printed, lets be honest) it will go into the slot, then either be stuck in the vertical portion due to no tolerances added for a good fit or it will get stuck or be too loose inside the horizontal portion. Good idea in theory, bad idea in practice.

no to tolerance for printing at all you should have some distance between the drawer and the case otherwise it will not fit coolyou showed us some sketching Tenique's but its not for 3d printing at all

IF YOU ARE GOING TO 3D PRINT Make sure that the offset of the small square is at least 0.15mm because otherwise you will not have enough tolerance
