a song about feeling out of place because your color doesn’t match your accent doesn’t match your tradition doesn’t match your environment and you constantly live in between it all 🔁
i reached out to @isabellavizetta to help me get creative with my visuals for this song, we had a quick day of filming on my bday, and this is the final result! i love the contrast between the silver jewelry as armor/chains in a dark room, and the silver skin in a simple and flowy fit outside in the sun. maybe it’s possible to be many things at once, like this song that goes from house to baile funk and takes a journey in between. it took me a while to produce and mix it but i think it’s in a good place to release now :) (special thanks to @pronouncedlucas for helping me with mix notes!)
i’m excited to get even more creative and bold in my music and vision. things are starting to move, i am grateful thank you are here and receiving my presentations 🙏🏽✨ more music otw!!
