thanks for uploading this!
Thanks so much :-)
Beautiful eyes and such a sweet little smile. RJ rules!
i knew this was BOGUS, and people fell for it
Is there an actual study publidhed here or is it just people talking about things because i have met non speaking autistic people who are able to type
ua-cam.com/video/8h1rcLyznK0/v-deo.htmlsi=tY24HpB12tRMdiph@@Ftjxmmged
@@Ftjxmmged its actually where the assistant is "helping" to type but its really just the assistant typing it and not the student. There are many studies that say FC does not work.
@@triniroma4957 interesting because I know autistic adults I interact with personally because I'm also autistic and non speaking and they definitely are actually doing it themselves. But I guess they're just faking it too? Really disappointing seeing this from within the community but lateral ableism towards higher needs autistics is so normal that we are used to it
What is her full name
Hi, I don't know. The picture is from years ago when I was traveling the entire country every month and meeting with 8-10 new learners a day for 3 days a month. Strenuous! ;0-)
Where's the rest? Been looking for this for years
Facilitators can be bad at facilitating. Was that part of the study
facilitators are all bad at facilitating because it was all fake science
in part one is the test
@@triniroma4957 that didn’t answer my question. They DONT consider that some people are bad facilitators. It’s kind of a key thing to consider 🙄
Good stuff. Thank you!
Hey i visited your website, you do an admireble job in helping people and kids alike, keep on
I can't thank you enough for uploading this. I am one of Connie's children; my sibling just let me know about seeing this video on here. Your technology deserves showcasing, and I am sure most people watching will (rightly) focus on that. But for me, personally, this is a slice of family history - hadn't seen an episode of my mom's old TV show in decades, and this was deeply impactful.
I'm so flattered you would watch that old episode! That was a very enjoyable interview and your mom was very much the 'lady' (graceful and gracious)! It still plays nicely and gets my message across :-) 1991! Wow! I've actually 'resurrected' the CooperCar (different base vehicle/toy) and am offering that at rjcooper.com but requests for it are very low. With the original version, over its 8 year history (1991-1999) I placed 844 of them worldwide, so it was successful back then. These days, it's just something else I offer while I slowly 'age out' ;-) Thanks for thinking of writing me!!!! :-)
Thanks
Thank you for posting this , God bless you and all involved xx
Thanks for that great comment! I wish I got more views but I'll take what I can get! I've just restarted the CooperCar project. We'll see if others share your opinion ;-)
Man, our cooper case has saved my kiddos Ipad so many times, but you put it in without a care. xD; I slowly in that thing in like im afraid it's going to spiderweb at any second, lol
Hi! I’m glad the case has saved the day a few times ;-) The person doing the demonstration here on UA-cam is that my manufacturer and she does a slam - dunk job. I’m glad that you’re more careful than she is ;-)
They knew what 5hey were doing, they are very good manipulators
the thought that there is an outside chance that the faciliators consciously accused parents of sexual abuse thus ruining families is too horrible to contemplate most interpreters of the fc phenomenom feel that faciliators unconsciously not consciously manipulated the responses of the autistic kids
@@MrRaulstrnad it would be nice if that were true
@@shrodingerscat4191 you certainly have an interesting interpretation of what happened and i respect your interpretation ...the implications of this however are very disturbing but unfortunately in some cases it might be true
@@MrRaulstrnad agreed
I really don’t think they knew. Look up “Ideamotor phenomenon”
Please email me at rj@rjcooper.com so I can ask you questions about your situation.
Dr. Hawking used a switch with a laptop and the communication program to speak. This young man is operating in much earlier level and is using his switch for what we call cause-and-effect tasks, like this play music one.
Hi! Well, Dr. Hawking used a switch as well as this young man. But for completely different purposes.
That stephen Hawking used
I want to know that is it the same device or technology
Hi
Thats my beautiful sister 😍😍
can you please share what MP3 player this is?
Would you be able to provide a link to that black stand? I tried looking up on ebay and amazon for "simple kit tablet stand" and nothing pops up. Thanks in advance! Great video
I'm proud of have worked for you.
Great,

Great job!
Thanks for the demo! :)

Glad you were amused :-) Several hundred people have this item and it rocks their world, according to their parents. So thanks :-)
