wow such an amazing informative talk, first half was just amazing for how a designers perspective towards design as a field should be also which type direction and approach should a designer acquire, to make use of his capability. Second half gives the insight about how these things get influenced in a wrong way because of media and already existing market. Thankyou so much for this. He truly is a remarkable thinker.

At that point of time I used to idealize this dream, five years later, I find that world is much much bigger than IDC, life is much more than just being a designer, certainly that can be a good part, but career is a much deeper things are there in human life.

This is absolutely awesome. So nice to hear you again Sir. And I couldn't agree more. Fourth semester is a disaster. it used to be somewhat true even when I was in IDC in 1998, but seems its getting even more so. Thanks for posting this. :-)
