I relate… years ago I was thinking through the parable of the tenants- thinking also about Joseph’s brothers in Genesis… There’s this weird combination with Joseph’s brothers (and Jesus detractors) of unbelief (“you’re not who you say you are-these dreams of yours will come to nothing!”) and of urgently necessary action: throw him in the pit (…just in case?). They are, at one level, those who don’t believe… and also: they know. This is the heir! I don’t find your views about the marketplace-I just wouldn’t worry about it. You make sense to me.

Amen I needed to hear this! I’ve been like this my whole life! I think it started from my childhood when my earthly father rejected me. I have let people get away with so much because I was worried they would reject me! I’ve gotten better as I’ve gotten older but I still struggle with it , I always worry I’m going to hurt someone’s feelings. Lord Jesus please help me😂
