i'm fluxxomed on this question in my text book A, B, C, and D are points on a circle, and AB and CD are chords that intersect at point E inside the circle. 1. Prove that △AEC∼△BED. 2. Given that AE=5 cm, EC=4 cm, BE=6 cm, and ED=3 cm, verify that the product of the segments of the intersecting chords is equal (i.e., AE⋅ EC = BE⋅ ED). 3. If ∠BAC=70∘ calculate ∠BEC\. can you help mr crowe?
I have done a video that I'll upload for the first part for you but I think there is a typo in the textbook for the second part, which is probably why you are struggling!
