I have always wanted a welding cart but didn't want to spend the money to buy one so I decided to make one myself. I designed this welding table myself for my small workshop to be able to work with metal or place heavy objects on it. Now it is an indispensable part in my workshop. 👉 Watch how i made my Fiberglass Landrover body: ua-cam.com/video/AZ5rojnhZ8g/v-deo.html 👉 let me know what You thi...

Fiberglass mold for my landrover powerwheel build (short)
Переглядів 1,2 тис.7 місяців тому
Hello there! Watch how i made my Landrover Defender mold for my upcomming project. this is an short version, i will make a second video where I'm going to go into a little more detail. #hondacbr600 #landrover #fiberglassmold #diy
Good shit bro, pretty dang good shit 👌👌
Thanks man! 😀
Nice, I'm excited for the steering!
Me too!!
Is the engine placed at the front of the vehicle?
Yes, it will😀
@SmeetsDesign I'm interested to see how and where everything else is going to fit. 🤔
@@carib_gamer_9744 Me too, but i need to trust the process😆
I’m gonna keep asking, steering where?
Steering there
There's plenty space for it in right in front of the gearbox... as for how to get there... go from underneath the engine...
@@FrancoRoya yes steering will be in front of the engine, the challenge is to connect the steering rack to the steering wheel. Can’t go under the engine because the exhaust will run true there😅
@@SmeetsDesign I've seen many people weld sprockets to steering tubes and use chains to connect parallel tubes where joints are not an option
@@FrancoRoya yeah, I was thinking of using sprockets😅
Question the wider a arm on the bottom is more stable when braking especially if the buggy is heavy?Great video by the way 👍👍👍
Thanks! I think a wider a arm is more stable because the hinge points are further away from each other. 🙂
What size iron pipe should you use for the chassis, boss?
Here i use a tube 38x2mm for the main chassis and then 25x2 for adding cross pipe's for strength. This mainly because 2 such bending discs came with the tube bender i use.😀
@SmeetsDesign For the size of the main chassis, how many inches of pipe should I use? Sorry sir, I'm curious.
@@AnggaSaputra-y1d for this project i used about 4 lengths of 6m tubs (4x 19'8'') but get an extra tube for when you misbend or something😀
@@SmeetsDesign Size 19'8 in inches or mm, boss
@@AnggaSaputra-y1d 19feet 8inch
How long is the chassis arm in cm, boss?
what do you mean by arm?🙂
@SmeetsDesign Yes sir, I'm curious to know how long it is.
I just subbed, you better finish this project 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
Still working on it😅
You gonna bend the steering around the engine or what?!
He must have thought of something, wait and see
I wanna see your grow bro,.... looking out to starting my crosskart project.... Good luck bro
Thanks man, and good luck with your project!
good luck on your build, it's very interesting but you need to design it well.. CAD design it's a must! You need to have some suspension points, space for the shocks and pull/push rods, space for transmision, for steering, a pedal box, a fuel cell and so on! I'm very interested in your build, I'm positive that this will be so cool!
Yes i now its not a small project, but i looked up the importand steps for supspension, steering, .... And CAD design is not really a problem for me, i work as a Cad designer😃
How you steering the car?
thats a problem for future me😅
Keep up the amazing work
Thank You!
Very nice project my friend, you need more subscribers for sure.
Thanks I apriciate this!
Nice ! Grüße aus Deutschland
thanks!
Steering goes where?!
In the front😅
Very nice! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching!
Is this flux welder you use? What brand/model?
no its with gas, its a HBM 200 CI MIG.
GREAT WORK!😃 I was surprised you said you hadnt welded much, as those welds look nice!! Im new to welding myself. One thing I would recommend due to what I have read a lot about lately is : 1. Keep your face out of the fumes 2. cover all your skin including your forearms. 3. Wear at least a mask to filter out all those fumes (and build an fume extractor next) . With talent like you have, you'll want to live a long life so you can make lots of cool stuff!😃 Keep it up!!
hahah thanks for the tips! I will look more into opening the port so I have some air circulation. I think this will also work against the fumes..
Dont put welder underneath the welding table. It will suck the welder splater in.
I have already put something over the welding machines for the sake of debris falling down through the holes of my table as well, I could have seen that happening🙂
@@SmeetsDesign They're referring to the fans sucking in debris that can perhaps interfere/damage the electronics.
Well done!
Thanks!
I encourage you in this work and wish you progress and prosperity in this field👍. I have constructive criticism as they say and advice for you. Your work is perfect but make it complete without defects. ⚠The mistake is to put the welding machine directly under the work table also integrating the gas cylinder into the work table☢. Safety and security come first✔. Make a special table for the welding machine only without merging it with anything else. Thank you very much and always forward.👍
thanks for the advice! your comment is right and I will see if I can solve the problems or make a separate setup for the welding devices. But for the moment I haven't done much welding on the table, more working with the hammer and grinding wheel 😀
@@SmeetsDesign That's okay. Be more unique in your next project. We expect you to be creative in that. Sometimes we don't get much time for our projects. Have a nice day 😊 my friend
keep it going bro! im very invested
Thank you!
Don't stop bro, keep it coming!! 👍🏻
I will!!
This project is crazy, I love it!
Thank you!!
It's looking good, and it's also really big. What scale is it? 1:3? 😧
Scale is more like 1:2.5 i made it 1,6meters in length 😁
Cool! Looking forward to seeing more of this!
Thanks! I will upload part 2 next Wednesday!
Love to see more of the project!! Great Job!
Thanks buddy!!
Excellent process and thanks for sharing! The audio is a little muffled and hard to hear so you might look into a different microphone, or try increasing the mid to high end on your vocal track EQ.
Thanks for the tip! I will remember this for the next video!
@@SmeetsDesignThis is awesome, and that's just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!
Please show every step I am interested and already has subscribed, Please post soon. Bonke from South Africa

I love it! Can't wait for the result!

thats a great job for a channel that just started, but maybe if you make your videos longer maybe 12-20 min max your channel will for sure grow fast….
thanks! and I will indeed make my videos a little longer to give some more detail on how it is made.
