The characters knowing each other was such a weird experience, they start as if they were strangers quite literally saying “i’m surprised you don’t remember me, we met at elle’s birthday” then trying to console her while maintaining distance, and then right after the fish story he goes into the ex boyfriend character “you are my fish” first name basis more often, past relationship is brought up, it was weird
