Great Element SC generations contrast video. The differences are subtle enough to go unnoticed unless you have both generations side by side for comparison. I currently drive a 2011 Scion XB Release Series (manual tranny), which is pretty rare, but I'm considering an Element as a second toaster. Do you find the SC suspension jarring, fatiguing over long drives, or rough roads?

After watching just the first few minutes…THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I recently bought an Element sc and it came with an Android 10.2 head unit. The problem I’m having is that the speakers sound like crap. I believe I need a 4-channel. Found that in a different video. But I have learned, I’m not running a sub due to how the previous owner set it up. I believe they got the wrong one. I don’t have aux or sub plugs. But they did get a metra hookup. So luckily I have that. But there is no hook up for the sun off of the metra harness. Audio is not my strong suit. So thank you so much for making this video.

Yo I just got an oem spoiler for my element but I forgot one hardware under the spoiler I need that nut or whatever it’s called its in the middle under the spoiler would you happen to have an extra one

Looking at the C-shape of clefts, the panels should be removed by sliding forward.

This happened to me, the miles on my element’s don’t match up with the DMV records. Was advertised as 160 K and it’s probably closer to 260 K. Please check Carfax on these if you can! Apparently it is very easy to swap over gauge clusters in elements and there are a lot of shady people out there.

You can probably report it to some government agencies. Idk who exactly but it would be odometer fraud

If person bought the car and is reselling it- my question is : why would the first person sell it with her license plates attached ????

The odometer mileage isn't stored on the Element's computer. If you swap the gauge cluster, the mileage will be what the car you swapped from. Not good.

I would like your opinion, I have 160,ooom on mine and saw some videos of people replacing the fuel pump round that mileage. Would you replace it I have no symptoms and if you did what brand and would u do whole pump ass or just a pump. Thanks

I wanted to ask you how concerned I should be when I find and Element then when I look up the VIN #, there are usually 10-12 open recalls. Does this concern you at all? Since I'm not a mechanic, how concerned should I be if at all? Thanks

Congrats on a smooth transaction. I'm currently looking for an Element and getting annoyed by all of the dealers who get Elements, sell the Elements but leaves the ads up on the website so you will call them, and they try to do a bait and switch. These tactics are really frustrating.
