Though I would be remiss to not mention as you have Not mentioned the population of native people who were their appreciating the land long before the white man came and were photographed standing next to piles of felled trees, or relaxing along the water, posing on islands they bought to make their own sanctuary and then, generations later, be interviewed to speak on land conservation. It is a huge disservice to our society to not include a person of color or even a mention of them or their connection to this land

I'm so glad these pieces of history could be saved. Yes. Saved. This was a terrible land deal considering the history of the peninsula.

Looking forward to our next reunion. The last one we did was 2019, 40 years. Great boat. Great crew and great town. Wife is from Sturgeon Bay too. Yep, we met when I was stationed there.

The music played at the end is the classic "Washington Post March," by John Philip Sousa, written in 1889. It hasn't aged a day since.

I've actually been somewhere that very few have been - in the windowed cupola that's on top of the roof. :P
