🇹🇭 Explore a Lush Thai Forest Path near Naiyang Beach
Casuarina pines, their needle-like leaves rustling in the breeze, dominate the landscape. Patches of sunlight break through the canopy, illuminating the uneven ground carpeted with a mix of fallen brown pine needles and pockets of green creepers. The air is abuzz with the incessant chirping of tree crickets and the rhythmic drumming of cicadas. A flash of blue darts past as a blue-winged kingfisher dives for its breakfast, its rattling call echoing off the rough bark of the surrounding trees. A group of hornbills squawk as they clumsily hop from branch to branch, their large black bills contrasting with the vibrant green foliage. The occasional rustle in the undergrowth hints at the presence of unseen lizards and skinks scurrying amongst the fallen leaves.

I just came back this past week… My first time in Egypt but what I can say is that this was the end of my eight day tour.. and between the extra cost of going into some tombs and the heat and my being so tired I made it in only two.. Hopefully another time I’ll be able to see them all but I did see king tut when he was brought to Seattle… This Tomb surfaces them all..I really wish that they could lay in their given places forever without human contact the way it was meant to be.. but at least we’re getting an insight and look into history for generations God bless these people and those who take painstakingly time and effort to bring the history to us….

I dont like how King Tuts mummy is still in there but alone and not with his belongings and treasures and property. That is too sad, if they took everything of his to the museum they should atleast take his mummy too to be near his property. That is sad.

still bit off that they buried themselves there instead of what globally is being told that the piramides where tombs aswell, they could chosen to be buried there, so i think the piramides where already there before the time of pharaos

No sunlight gets in there. Yet there are massive, delicate and extensive paintings and carvings that required bright lighting for a prolonged time. And they are squeaky clean, like all interior surfaces, free of any soot stains. How was such sustained lighting achieved 4,000 years ago?

    • @varyolla435

Oil lamps emit light = without the sooty flame of a torch. Further via using clean burning oil such as olive oil along with say adding a little salt to the oil as some suspect + a tightly woven wick = little smoke is emitted. Now all you need are polished copper mirrors to reflect the light. There are examples of such mirrors going back to 3,000 BC in ancient Egypt. You simply assume torch use - likely due to dubious online and entertainment television claims. Dig deeper.

Tutankhamun was buried in 1323BC. So when Ramses 1 was buried in this tomb in 1290BC Tut had already been dead for over 30 years. He had over 30 centuries to go before Howard Carter would find him.

They are grave robbers. Look at the erosion. The priests intended for the area to be fully covered . . . that the Nile would sediment up and rise and also deposit sediments. Plate tectonics would do it's moving . . . and someday . . . a casket of gold would project out of the side of a mountain . . . and the humanoids would marvel. University hustling school kids into believing at the sanctity of education . . . instead . . . they're grave robbers . . . robbing eternity of truth.
