When I give a prepared speech, and have practiced and refined it for a few weeks it's always more professional and better quality. I also love increasing my impromptu speaking skills in my Toastmasters' meetings. I feel both communication skills are important to me as an entrepreneur. Hello again, Brahm. Our club had a lot of fun with our version of the 70-second speech contest. We even had talks from a few members who rarely give speeches. Yvette won with some rousing encouragement for all of us to smile! Thanks again for giving us the idea, even if it wasn’t exactly what you had in mind.

The 70-second speech is part of an “application” to enter a separate contest for a 7-minute speech. In contrast, our club contest is a challenge to see whether someone can deliver their entire message within 60-70 seconds. I will encourage our contestants to pursue your approach too. I listened to your magnificent training and here is my feedback! Awareness precedes Action! Between Stimulus and response, there is gap therein lies your freedom to choose the way you live your life! You hit the nail on the head on Autonomy, Freedom, and Taking total responsibility. It’s the number reason why leaders are so weak and not mentally tough!
