We've had the chance of testing the Reef Bandits stickbait. Fishing in Le Morne, Mauritius.
Back in action after a few idle weeks.
Summer is nearly round the corner, and Trevally season is already on.
Catching some biggies on the usual McCarthy soft baits and two pretty Bluefin on the Reef Bandits 30g stickbait.
Pretty looking bait, with some mind blowing action.
Will be spending the next few fishing trips, trying to catch other pelagic on this beauty.

Uploading after such a long time. We've had some major issues with our Gopro and ended up losing yet again so much footage. Might switch to the Osmo if need be. For the last weeks of Winter, we've fished the offshore reefs of Le Morne and surprisingly caught some nice sized fish, some big bust ups and breaks on light tackle. Solo session after the storm. Rough conditions ; big swells and wind. Nevertheless it was a great session, with lots of fish and a lot of releases. Short video of our boat Session at Le Morne. The morning fish activity was awesome, the bites were crazy. Had to upload it again, the first one was taken down. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience. We couldn't get the footage of all our catches, I forgot my spare batteries at home 😢 But we would like to thank you all for following us through our adventures. As always, keep fishing!!!

A short video from last Sunday's session. Unluckily we tested positive to Covid, 24hrs later. Nevertheless it was a nice session. A few catches only but we had the chance to meet a few friends. No fishing for a couple of weeks, and we hope to come back stronger and as quickly as possible. To you all stay Safe!!

Just like we anticipated, the fish were au Rendezvous. Started on a solo session, only to be joined by the brother. We switched spots, and the bites were on. I fished with the McCarthy 2.5inch paddletails, set on a 5grms Jighead. Crazy new colours available at Izumi Systems Ltd and Aquarius Ltd. Extended boat Session last Sunday. The weather was VERY VERY windy, but the sun was on point. An early glimpse of Summer??! Maybe It was nice being on the water, the bite was ON!! Boat session last week end. Pretty low activity, but we had some real fun. We tested the 2021 Ultegra, pretty comfortable and solid reel. Had my wife reel in the catches, her very first Bluefin Trevally and personal best on a Trevally yet. Enjoy the video, Please like and subscribe
