@snwhiteorchid Hey I have a stray cat who is currently diagnosed with jaundice with liver and kidney problem along with anemia. The vet has put the cat on drip and injections since two days. Now he’s asked me to give the cat Erythropoietin (Relipoietin) 4000 IU Injection which is to treat anemia with kidney disease. It’s basically a injection for human. Could you please tell me is it safe to give him that injection???

So I’m starting treatment at vet IV hospitalization during the whole day they are open. 4 days are suggested so far. The doctor gave her lots of sub q fluids on day one and antibiotic shot. Also a shot for nateous. The day I brought her in she was super yellow! After day one at hospital they gave me Denamarin by Nutramax. Giving her all through the night water with electrolytes with syringe. A little squirt every 5 min. I’m wiping her with cool cloth to help fever. Tomorrow is day 2 on the hospital visit. Also using the mms protocol for cats you can look it up a lady suggested it on here. I believe i will give her my all and right now she just got up and drank water out of the bowl on her own that’s awesome. I just recommend anytime your cat is acting weird take them in right away! Get that liver flushed out day by day that’s the key. Yellow ness can take up to a couple months to go away but blood levels can show recovered much earlier then this. Praying for you all and please pray for my Sprinkles ❤

My cats only 4 she tuned jaundice 2 days ago, and the meds and force feeding feels horrible. I'm afraid she's going to not love me anymore.

I'm going through this now with my cat Steve, and I'm doing everything I can... pedalyte water chicken baby food, and prednisolone that's a liver safe steroid. I hope my guy bounces back to good healthy life like your Gary did.

I know these is for a cat but my dog is going thru this. I literally already paid $1k this weekend and he’s still not better they asked for more money and I’m like how am I supposed to afford this. He has been throwing up and barely able to walk. I am going to pick up this food and put him on his medication finally because he’s holding food down more. I’m literally terrified rn. He’s doing better than before but I just feel so sad because I literally have $8 to my name and I just got paid. I’m going to the store and grabbing a couple of these cans, I have like electrolyte flavorless drink and I been syringe feeding him. He’s holding down food more and he doesn’t seem as drunk. He’s drinking waters. I’m only letting him have it every like hour or so but only a couple licks at a time. I been seeing this food everywhere, and I think I’m going to try this.

Bg ubt n test drah je.. isi air 30ml. Sbb die xnk mnum sdri. N susa pgg die. So nxt day bawa g vet feed with 100ml air lg. Hope die cpt smbuh sbb few day ni die dh kerap makan but only wet fud. Dok saran bg kitten pnye food sbb bnyk nutrien. Die dlm bdn bnyak sel drah putih dr merah. But alhamdulillah hati hepatitis smua OK. Cume nk recover kuning tu je. Mcam mne nk pakse bg mnum air. Bg ubt pon die mntah kan. Bg pil ok if cecair die melawan. Tpkse is fluid kat vet. naseb jmpe vet yg murah. Mlm sy cube bg air kelapa juga. Doakn kcg sy smbuh n gmok baik
