Thay expects you are not total beginners, I am ,and was not have problems, just paused video, or played few times when not understand, and watched what he doing with mouse, and also immediately tried in program. Learned few new things :-D

Very good tutorial, how then we can create the .psm files? and another question, If we create the .psm files and later I modify any variable of the family part file , I need to open the psm file to update it?

I love your videos but unfortunately the hole concept of family of parts is dump in Solid edge because: 1. You cannot have one file that store all configurations and just select the proper one when paste to assembly, like inventor has. Instead SE force you to populate all members 😡. 2. All members are copy of parts so it's limit it usability, for example members do not inherit relationships from parent part that was created via assign capture fit. 3. You can not name configurations based on formulars like name + values from variables. 4. When you try to replace member to another member you do no have filter option, instead you need to scroll the list which could be hundreds of members in it. 5. SE does not have an option to have separate drawing for each member, instead you need to have one drawing for all configurations which is okay when you have only few members but dump when you have hundreds of them.

What a garbage video. Obviously only 1.57K subscribers and 42 views after 2 years. UA-cam should kick out the "Solid Edge Expert". First in order to be useful, one needs an accent free narration of what is done. I cannot see exactly what button he did press, because Solid Edge has many tiny buttons. And worst of all, the "expert" is no expert at all. I do not care about HIS mistakes, I want to learn how to avoid mine and I want a clear accent free (so I can understand) voiceover what is going on. No background music, no mistakes... just a quick 10 minutes or less tutorial about the topic. I am a novice in the field of mold design and if my master would be as "difficult" as the "Solid Edge Expert", I would get myself a different master to learn from. I want nothing for free, I am willing to pay for it, with sitting through countless advertising (this is how the video is financed). Solid Edge is complicated enough... to get an answer to a question, one can sped half a day messing around.

ANYTHING here on using the "FRAME" process for creating Structural Weldments ?

Imported a .ifc file made from CAD. once opened in SE2024, i cant use the open function to open a asm file form the pathfinder. with that i cant even create a 3D export files. can you assist.

How about center of gravity coordinates? Also, can you extract the Parent-Child Hierarchy of the Assembly? What formats can you extract the properties to (txt, xls, pdf...etc)?

Could you be so kind to show how to add flange to standard parts database and set the flange (automatic connections on the ends of a flange) in a way so it could be used in piping module.

During my engineering studies I have designed quite a lot in CAD. Now returning for hobby I decided to start with Synchroneous as I realize how precious my free time is working full time job. I think it is hard to quantify but this boosts the creativity, as engineers will try more new stuff instead of old and trusted.

Here, we are only talking about the UI. Is the UI the only part that has changed? Aren't many users' requests being reflected?

Well what can I say, another year could be skiped, since almost nothing has been addeed or enchanced for basic user. SE keep do the things that will use 0.0001% of users, sad.....

Minute 5:55, after you click on ¨aply¨ the part seems to update the shape into the one desire, but the text does not, and you say something like ält view¨ or similar and then the text chages too. Can you tell me what do you do/click in that moment in order to update the text? I got to that pinot perfect, but my text foes not update with only clicking ¨aply¨. Thanks in advance!

How to connect variables in part to stnadard part administrator so you will not need to create all part manualy before adding them, example: you have a one part brick with custom named variables such as bricklength, brickwidth, brickheight. And you have a an excel table with all combinations of variables. May I kindly ask you to make a video....
