At min 9:16, whenever it's an attack encounter, don't you cover up the shield on the peril attack side. And when it's just peril attack you ignore the attack encounter side. Right? Also you forgot to draw 5 cards at the beginning of the round. Then 2 cards.

Yesterday we had a game of Runeage, (the Quest for Power scenario) and one player had the Uthuk faction. The Warlock Chieftain felt so broken due to his ability to keep coming back turn after turn. Imagine having a banch of those and forever have a powerfull hand! What's your opinion?

Oh, I love Destinies. I have everything up until this expansion. I need to grab this when I can find it at my local store. I’m kind of bummed. My last expansion I bought didn’t come with any of the character cards the character cards that were in that expansion were from the original core game, tried to reach out to the company, but no luck

This looks to be a good expansion. Walkthrough would be good. I understand the characters are so small so that they make the larger characters more daunting!!!!

Hi Annabelle, I made a couple of house rules for this game that helps me because I play solo too and get frustrated with the same rules you do. The app can’t tell if you use 2 actions to move as long as you skip your other actions. Also, as long as you select the hero you want to go next, the app can’t tell if you’ve gone in order or not. Hope that helps :)

Thank you for the playthrough. Would you recommend this game for solo for the retail version? Meaning no monster miniatures, and more importantly the solo mode is different as your Kickstarter has the wild hunt expansion i think. Do you like this over Assassins Creed Brotherhood of Venice? I'm adverse to luck and randomness in games and prefer making meaningful decisions. Thanks again.

Hi. Thank you for the content. I learned to play Shadows of Brimstone from one of your videos. Unfortunately, after investing much money and time assembling the miniatures, that is the worst game i ever purchased due to lack of meaningful decision making and agency. Too much randomness. For reference, my favorite adventure / dungeon crawlers are Mage Knight and Too many Bones. Can you recommend a adventure / exploration / dungeon crawl for mostly solo & coop play that has a lot of player agency? FYi, I tried Gloomhaven JoTL, but found running wo characters with that card system too much to manage. How would this game, Sword or Sorcery be if I like Mage Knight and hate SoB? Any thoughts on Tainted Grail? Thanks

Great set up. Sadly my study is too small to leave lights etc up, so I end up taking them down and not using them and just filiming on sunny days😢. The editing must be quite a job for that especially for long games.

I love your enthusiasm for games because I share it. I was explaining to a friend that I had read a historical article earlier whose author had drawn the same conclusions as I. "What an intelligent person" I thought. I love the camaraderie as I have said before. I love the change that has brought more women into the hobby, I remember when we were all men playing wargames which is fine. However my then female partner shot me in the back with an early Russian tank rifle whilst playing Squad Leader. I am still not entirely sure whether that was within the rules but it was damn funny. Boardgames and I have grown up together. And yes some of it has been Rivendell, a vehicle or more apositely a journey of imagination. You know, Ms Meeple, why dinosaurs are extinct. They never played board games and lacked imagination That lack of a reversible thumb probably came into it. My thanks and best wishes. I'll give your site a thumbs up which is more than a dinosaur could do.

When we complete a quest, we just exit. However, we have had 'tough quests' where there is a chance of wandering monsters or hazards on the way back. We just draw a treasure card randomly on the characters turn and ignore treasure.

We do have characters hand items to each other in a quest as long as there are no Monsters around. Free action as long as they are adjacent . That fits with DnD as well and makes sense,
