If you have Experian it will recommend it to you along with some other cards like credit one and indigo which I don’t recommend the indigo card interest is very high if you don’t have Experian download the app and sign up it’s free you don’t need the paid version unless you need to lock your credit report on the Experian app once your signed up just go to card match plus your able to add your utility bills to your credit report to help boost your score

You can download the shell app to your phone and link the card that you wish to use it will start you off with 3 cent off per gallon than after your first 3 fill ups than move you up to four fill up that your discount will stack within the same month the following month it will reset back to 3 cents off per gallon

Seems like they need to activate the card on there end at Citi when they try to pass you from agent to agent ask for a supervisor to get it sorted out

did you get new cards this year ??? I was sent an email and letter back in February stating my new cards are on their way... I didn't order any...and they haven't worked at the pumps both times I tried ...even at different stations...I earned $1.05 cent off with dining purchase the last two months but I cant get to use them...not even my 10 cents off my Gold status is on the monitor.

@@joeknowz4898 sorry, can't help you there, its a sock drawer card for credit score and history, I put a dollar on it every month to my Amazon gift card balance. I use the Sam's Club mastercard with 5 percent cash back for fuel, plus its usually a quarter cheaper than the shell stations. Fnbo is supposed to send a new card and number sometime in may and the effective date is May 22. I have never bought fuel with the Shell card. My Gap credit cards are changing to Barclay, which include Banana Republic, Athleta and Old Navy in June. So with shell and the other 3 cards, I am losing history on 4 cards and getting 4 new accounts, really sucks on the credit score.

@@mace422004 YEAH. I just got it because of the rewards...lately with the prices going up they have been playing idiot games with earning the rewards and how soon I can use them. I had the first card for 3 years with never and issue...since February and waiting 5 weeks for the new cards they said were on their way in February...they haven't worked at the pump to redeem my rewards. We use it at 2 restaurants in the rewards program and we can earn about 60 cents off a gallon in a month...I'm up to $1.05 now since the beginning of March ...three phone calls with them today and they all say ..its the pumps!!!! the same stations and pumps Ive been using with the old cards...

I have gotten the notice yet that it will be changing over to FNBO as of yet

@@doing2mucha.m442 I had it with them..the cards ( I have three sets now) they sent still in March don't show any rewards at the pump. All my fuel purchase stopped showing up on my Shell FR app after 3/12/22 and I stopped getting e-receipts for fuel purchases with these cards. All my fuel purchases show up on my Citi Bank statements as cash back the last day of the billing cycle and my 5 cents off gold status is now 3 cents off silver status, that discount shows up about 2 days after a fuel purchase but only on my Citi Bank statements. Thank for the up date...I went back to my Discover card....

Yes he will raise your credit limit within a couple of months once it hit your credit report not instantly because it’ll show up as a new account after a couple of must you will see a boost in your credit scores

Hey sorry for the late reply haven’t been on in a while no you don’t have to link the card too the Fuel Rewards app to get the 30 cents off you automatically get in just link it to your Shell app the Rewards app is if you use the card for Lyft or American Airline to build your AA point with Lyft you get and additional 3 cents off per gallon when you link your Lyft account

Sorry for the late replay haven’t been on in a while once you have the shell app downloaded on your phone it will automatically be in your shell app for gas purchases and if you need to purchase something inside of the station you will have a purchase inside of store option and a QR code will appear for the store clerk to scan

There is no cash with this card just instant discounts on your fuel purchase at the pump
