Its fine but connections have to be solid backwireing is not an example of a good connection . If i found a lot of this i wld be pigtailing and seeing how many outlets are daisey chained per circuit. I kind of like canadas code of no more than 9 devices on a 15 amp
14 gage wire no good for outlets
There was plenty of space to add a breaker style surge protection device. You didn't need an external device that required cutting the Sheetrock. Any reason why you didn't use the breaker type SPD?
Is that box rated for that many conductors
In my opinion, i like the humming sound of a fan,
Thank God I saw this video because I was even thinking about putting a dimmer switch on mines wowzers
1. Hampton Bay Landmark Plus 2. Savoy House Charleston
This is cursed
The 2nd fan is on a solid state variable speed control because there’s no chain that turns on the fan

Wait this hosue is from roswell!? Thats 7 mins from where i liver😂
That's awesome 😮
Number 2 bergkamp ceiling fan
Also it's fine if fan runs lower than 120 volt as long as it's steady drop. Capacitor based speed control does steady voltage drop, while the dimmer just causes chopping current, which makes buzzing noise, and also some net DC which can actually burn out the motor.
The second ones very loud humming noise scared the heck out of me
What’s the second ceiling fan called?
i just put it on lol
The 2nd ceiling fan was making noise
Such a clear explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
nice
Thanks
The second one is a Savoy House Charleston Ceiling Fan.
Your dog is so cute the one that laid on the bed😊
Need to replace ghetto s**t capacity
Please dont let it run for to long or it will burn out the motor it's just for your fan
Very bad for the motor never do that
My cousin it does sound like his old house and his new house Old fan was not dimmer but it hums so little loud one hampton bay Maplewood and new house was walmart chapter hugger Mmmm they are dimmer switch is bad motor it could hot! And burn motor out
Light dimmers? Light dimmers can harm the motor and cause fire.
What’s the black fan called
The master bedroom fan is an Savoy House Charleston
Living room fan (worn out:) Hunter 1983 Series ceiling fan Bedroom fan (Struggling:) Unknown hunter original ceiling fan
Does the first ond even run anymore
Probably not
Rurururururrurrruuurrururuu dimmer
What instrument do you play me the fan
Need a fan controller that uses capacitors, they have 3 or 4 speeds.
That’s why ceiling fans on dimmers can buzz
The first fan might be an Encon Monarch
What’s the second fan?
The second fan is a Savoy House Charleston.
@@CfWcaT Thx
@@TheExitSignDudeOfficial yw!
0:16 that's the same sound as the ceiling fan in my mom and dad's room
Except theirs is a Westinghouse/Westy
Really? That sound is probably not good especially if it is a modern hunter fan
Why not use an ordianry switch with remote controls?
0:17 what is that ceiling fan
Some Westinghouse or Hunter
I think it's a harbor breeze or a hunter
At 0:06 it's a Hampton Bay
Savoy House Charleston Ceiling Fan
The ceiling fan is loud but like landmark plus
The pull chain gotta be on for it to work on the dimmer usually
All the dimmers to my Grammy and grandpas ceiling fans and they work amazing
Wow
Are they fan speed controls or light dimmers?
0:16
Ceiling fans on dimmers can destroy the motor or overheat or worse you could create a fire hazard
Can you explain why please? I have a table fan & at lowest speed still very high to my desire. So I’ve been thinking of attaching a dimmer
Yousef Alhumaid search on google about ceiling fans on dimmers
Yousef Alhumaid search for dimmers for ceiling fans
Have to use a fan controller that uses capacitors and have fixed speeds.
You think that fan is noisy? I've been sleeping through a two stroke pull-start for years. Just be careful when putting on a shirt.
Wtf a two stroke ceiling fan?
@@rainbowrailroadcrossing7798 r/wooosh
this is what i would NEVER do to a ceiling fan if i would put on a wall control it would NOT be a dimmer
I don’t get it
OK
0:16
0:06-0:17 what kind of ceiling fans are?
0:06 Hampton Bay landmark
A hampton bay landmark
Umm no. Look at the blade bracket tho.
My grandmother had a Hampton bay set to a dimmer switch. When you increased the throttle and that 60z hertz buzz got louder.... damn....
Wow
