Me personally, I started playing a few years ago, took me 1 year to get to the first boss cell, then another 6 months to full clear the game. A year after that, I deleted my save accidently (this save had every item, outfit, and skill before castlvania DLC came out). I almost cried, but I made a new one to get all of that back.

About Outfits: so the runes you asking about is for the outfit (u can find the last rune in shops btw it cost 10k). i would say, trying to unlock all outfits is a end game thing because it cost so many cells to unlock all of these but feel free man, it can make your run sweet for u (like "skins make you play better" kinda thing) but hear me out. you can unlock some outfits for some achievements. About Gameplay: i don't want to give you so much information and mathematics abt game because it can be complicated in later. so literally game's motto is "Kill-Die-Learn-Repeat" that's why i recommend to find and try new weapons, just dont try to find same weapons u did good with the previous runs. because it can be too late or your luck is not going to be good for that run. it can make your run cooked. Just try to adapt what game gave you and do your best with it. (it can be horrible or it can be extremely lucky we dont know lol) Some of the weapons u will across in the game can be have "dual wielding" so it depends on you to change your play style. my recommendation for your gameplay tho. don't try to rush or speedrun each biome you go. take your time and try to clear hitless as possible because if you take hit so often so much. it can cause soo many problems in harder runs (like 3-4-5 boss cell modes). So your brain will train and make you memorise the movements of your enemies basically. (if you don't want to die training in runs, there is a training room for make ur parries and dodges better if you wanted) Synergy: if your weapons and skills have random stats with no synergies.. change that, because people can be stuck on 3 or 4 bc and still complain about "how can i get more damage build" that's why u will need some synergies for your weapons in late games. In a nutshell, you're looking for a primary weapon with an affix that deals bonus damage to enemies afflicted with a status effect like bleeding or poison, then for support gear that applies the needed effect. This is much easier to accomplish if you fill out your Legendary Forge to maximize the number of affixes on your gear. Generally though, I don't focus on synergy until after I have all the gear I want for my build. Then, if I have the gold for it, I'll reroll affixes to dig for synergy late game. maximum synergy is absolutely necessary to win. Therefore, you don't need to apply everything I mention here to a run with normal scaling, just the overarching ideas. Your first choice when making a build should be whether to take a shield or a secondary. Shields can apply various status effects that synergize with your primary weapon or provide utility to help you survive, they're relatively straightforward. Secondaries are more nuanced. Any viable secondary can have various effects, those being status application, spacing, and damage. Status application secondaries can be split into two categories, crowd control and damage over time. long story short, you can think and make brainstorm about it in the more harder modes for add extremely more damage to your builds.... there are some puzzles u will came across too. so good luck with these man! also you can check out wiki for some things u curious about it and yeah that's all bro hope u have a good day!

Those 2 "Runes" are part of a 3 key set which unlocks an outfit, also please when you make dead cells videos show the full run. It makes the video longer and is much more enjoyable in my opinon.

you didnt actually finish the game or lore btw, you know how you got STEM CELL 1 there are 5 STEM CELLS in total also called boss cells(bc) To gain next BC you have to play with the previous unlocked BC enabled or basicalyly there is a machine and you put first stem cell(doesnt go away if you lose its a perma thing) your run becomes harder by each BC but to finish the game for real you have to get 5BCs and at the 5thbc after Hand of the King there is a room on the right which you can go only throught 5 bcs and then there is the FInal real Ending boss. (aint spoiling anything because there is a huge plottwist)

3:54 is so real. whenever i play alone its the biggest sweatfest. as a solo playing against 3-4 man parties tryna make sum cdl ahh clutches in pubs is just crazy. i really have a rough time whenever i play alone but when i play w other people the games so fun and enjoyable and it really feels like the older pubs to me.

If you're interested in another colorful game that people put in a Soulslike category, have a look at Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. Prequel to the Zeno Clash games from 2009 and 2013. Instead of weapons, focus is on collecting and upgrading different martial arts styles and individual attacks, like a 3D fighter game. World's awesome and though you may not care much for story, perhaps some friends of yours and other people who discover your vids/streams may jive a lot more with it.
