I rent out pluckers for fun. My yardbirds are always breaking down. Once they need new fingers, I am going to sell them cheap and buy more super handy pluckers. I have one super handy plucker that is beat to death. I am going to refinger because it is so reliable. The design of the yardbird makes the motor/ gearbox hold water. It's not worth refingering.

I would like to see what is involved in replacing the vent tube. It disappears into the saw. What is on the other end of that tube. Can I just pull out the old one and insert a new one? I hate to totally tear the saw apart to see how to replace that hose. Thanks for posting your rebuild. PS: I have a 012 AV, but they look the same, except mine has a 2.8cc engine.

It seems like most farmers do not value the edge forests they own. Is there no one in the lumber/forestry industry to advise and market this type of wood prior to it rotting in place?

Wear gloves eyes glasses, and get a pump sprayer to apply the rust converter. And use a 1" nap roll to apply you finish sealant , save you a ton of time.

I go through a pair of Academy boots about every year, but I always find them on sale for $49 or so. I'll look at these guys and see if they have some I might prefer. I'm always a bit worried about buying shoes and clothes online because you just never know about the fit. I know I can return them but that's a PITA that requires me to head in to town and drop them off. I'd rather avoid going into Columbus if I can avoid it.

Here's hoping the chicks do well in the cold. There's a reason chickens slow down on egg production during winter. Thankfully, we have good temps for the next couple of weeks, and they can get feathered out completely. At least as completely as Cornish Cross feather. I'm not an organic or non-GMO guy, but a local guy. I've never seen a single study where organic or Non GMO makes a difference in human health. Lots of opinions, assertions, and personal beliefs, but no evidence. I once had a customer at a food show tell me she could tell which vegetables were genetically modified by their size. Al I could do was smile and move onto the next customer. Antibiotics are definitely soelmething that has been proven to cause some problems with humans.

I agree the antibiotic use is out of control with big chicken raising companies. But....growth hormones have been banned since the 1950s in all US Poultry farming. I think something should be done about the antibiotic use. That's insane. Hope your chicks do well in the cooler temperatures. I know when I've raised them in the fall they do alot better.

We have ag commissioner that sucks that is not for small Georgia family farms. He doesn't have a clue about how to do his job nor what he was elected for i blame the republican party for even backing tyler harper. Maybe instead of playing politics around the nation he should be working for Ga farmers. I hope everyone remembers how agriculture in Georgia has gotten worse since tyler harper took over and never vote for him again. Tyler needs to go back to his home town and play county politics. We need people in state and national politics that are for Americans making a living and doing good for others. Screw typos I like your videos but they piss me off that we as Americans have to put up with bs when illegals and other immigrants come to this country and get sacks of gold handed to them .

As a center left person from a farming family that for the most part leans right, this has more to do with crony capitalism than left and right. Big-ag influences politicians on the right and that's why your rights are vanishing when it comes to small scale farming. The left's biggest sin is indifference - this issue isn't really on their radar. "Go out and vote" is a nice cliche, but for who? Who isn't influenced by big-ag and who is supporting small-ag? Bottom line is that small-ag needs champions in Congress and in state legislators. And we need to know who they are so we can support them. I'll vote for any Republican or Democrat that backs family farmers. Just tell me who they are. And also tell me who not - who have abandoned small farmers?

My last house backed up to 100+ acre pasture. They fertilized with the bedding clean-out of commercial chicken houses. VULTURES flocked in massive amounts because of all the dead chickens mixed in with the bedding. I watched the truck as it shot out carcass after carcass. 🤮🤮🤮 The smell was horrific for a week. -KJ
